Thale-ya is the pronunciation I think of. It's the name of a beach in Laguna. I don't think you can go wrong pronouncing it any of those ways though!

The positive thing to remember is that your daughter has a 99% chance of not having DS which are pretty favorable odds. I personally would steer clear of anything that risks the baby's life (amnio)...

I honestly do not prefer sib sets that begin with the same letter. I find it unoriginal, I am sorry! My first child's name begins with an A and I was really drawn to A names when the second one came...

No, not a cute or fresh idea at all.
It's too dated IMHO. And Lol, I think of Amber Brown (is not a crayon) and the ridiculous girl from Teen Mom on MTV.
Bay is the name of a female character on a teen show on the ABC Family Channel called Switched At Birth. So...to me, it's been done before - but I definitely think pink when I hear it.
