I hate Cal as a nickname lol. There are some names that start with Cal that we like but refuse to consider because we feel so strongly against Cal!
Thanks for all the votes!
Yes, overall I do prefer Rafferty however, I love Theodore (Theo) too... I just find it plain at times and feel like Rafferty is a better fit. It's just become so awkward because of the situation!

We were actually considering it for a boy, but I feel like I know more girls with this name than boys! I'm ok with some gender bending but wouldn't want a name that was considerably more common on...
Well I selected the option to add a poll but I must have missed something because it didn't appear :(
Do you find the name Bellamy more fitting for a boy or girl?
I know a family with the last name Rigby, so that would be weird!
Saracita, we're good friends with the other mom and I was ok with the similarities until DH kept accidentally calling her daughter Rafferty! Our daughters are friends and I've talked to her about it...
Actually, the little girl's name is Rafaela, so Raphael is MUCH closer haha.
Theodore would go by Theo, but the birth certificate would read Theodore proper.

I posted a little while back looking for help narrowing our boy and girl list since we felt so all over the place. We recently found out we are expecting a baby BOY in June and have managed to narrow...

Again, thanks so much for the feedback everyone! It's making it both harder and easier haha.
Another name we used to have on our list was Noella, which I still love but am not identifying with...

Thanks again for the continued feedback!
Lots of varied opinions :) but that's good!
I think we will be removing Dashiell from the list though. Slowly but surely cutting back! I really like...

We like the name Rafferty, nothing to do with the nn Raffi. We have a friend with a daughter named Rafaela too which causes our dilemma because I don't want to "copy" them :/
Glad to see someone...

Our reasons for using Pearl as a mn are:
- it is my grandmother who is close like a mother to me. (Mark is my dad, Edmond my grandfather, DH isnt close to his). We don't care for our mother's...

We have no sisters! If baby is a girl the middle name will be Pearl. We are considering Rafferty as a girl name as well (I have another post on the girl page).

Again, thank you all so much for your feedback! It's been super helpful. I'll update with a comment after the list has received a few more cuts haha.
I think Kyle works well as a strong female name. Personally, I do not care for Kylie (seems ditzy to me) and Kila is ok, but kind of a buzz kill-ah lol.

Haha thanks for the Rafferty love. I find it's definitely one of those names people love or hate, it's certainly not for everyone.
Also, I completely forgot that Rosalind was our other top girl...

It's funny that many people find Henrietta doesn't go well stylistically with Arden. I find both Henrietta and Rafferty do. Scarlett can go with many names and is also generally a more popular name. ...

After I wrote this list I realized I'm totally over Zenon lol.

Thanks all! I'm glad not everyone is against Ambrose lol. I have a couple friends who say it's not too matchy.
Lively yet warm is a feeling I do aim for! Not always intentionally but it often...

It's funny because when we came up with it, we were standing outside of a restaurant in a dark, forest-y town on our anniversary talking about baby names. We were looking at the sky/stars while...

Thanks! I get the same vibe with Scarlett Pearl, but since she wouldn't go by her full name often it's not a deal breaker, much.
Arden is actually an old fashioned boy name, so we have no issue...
