Ellie is a very popular nickname, but I don't think Eleanor/Elinor is incredibly popular yet. Love the Elinor spelling (big Jane Austen fan over here).

I don't see Liesl as a nickname, but nicknames aren't always spawned from the real name. I had an uncle named Larry who was called Peba. Go figure.
