Faye Beatrice and Faye Violet are both really pretty.
My youngest daughter is Margot Cecily, so I have a bias there but when I say it out loud, Faye Cecily + your last name sounds really lovely....
My 3 year old pronounces our second daughter, Margot's, name "Marno." It drives me batty. We have a ton of cute nns for our 3 year old (She is Leisl, and we call her that and Lise, Lou, Leecey) but...
thank you! =)
I forgot to post this back in January, but you all helped me name Margot Cecily, sister to Leisl Feline. Born Jan 15 2012! Thanks!!!

I know a little 5 year old Olympia and it's a cute name but so close to Olivia. I love Severine and Cadenza is cool for the many cool nick names! Gorgeous combos!

We started calling our daughter by her middle name just before she turned two and she adapted seamlessly. Since you want to change it to something similar, once you choose, just incorporate it like...
My baby is a Margot and we get compliments daily :) Her big sis is Leisl and we get lots of love from that too.
BG Margot Cecily was born in January, and we are trying to come up with a cool nickname for her that is NOT the Mag/Maggie/Marge/Margie type. We have thought of Romy and I called her Simcha when she...
My daughter is Leisl who we call Lula and Lilou - I think many L names can yield to that nickname. I LOVE the name Louisa, and I like it with your other childrens' names. Isaac, Dahlia, and Louisa....
Miriam is just gorgeous. I think it could fit almost any kind of person - it can be equally soft and spunky.
Aimee is nms. Doesn't seem like it would mature well.
Gillian reminds me of Gillian...
I love Violet, Claire, and Lila from your list (though I've noticed lately that Lila's in t.v. and film tend to be nuts - Damages, Dexter, Carnivale being the examples I've noticed).

It is kind of lyrical isn't it? I go back and forth between feeling that way and worrying that it is a bit stuffy.
I have a Leisl. I know:
I love Claudia! I've known a little Claudia since she was three, and it is adorable and fresh.
I also know *exactly* how you feel. I turned over the first name to my husband because I feel...
Lucien is gorgeous. Lucas isn't bad, but it's less pretty than Lucien/Lucian. I think Lucien goes great with Victor!!
It also seems like this may be a temporary issue - since musicians sort of come and go popularity-wise? Maybe...
I am from the US and I guess a bit out of the loop as I just found out, through Nameberry, that Adele is the name of a pop (?) singer in the UK (?) or something like that :)
How prominent is she?...

Cosima Simone is still doing really well! My only concern is that it is kind of "stuffy" - and I was starting to feel like the middle name should be a little lighter. Do you guys think Cosima Simone...

Thanks for your votes so far! I love Cosima Simone too! My two favorites are Cosima Simone and Mazarine Cicely, but I go back and forth A LOT :)

I was thinking Mah-zah-reen. We aren't totally sure about nicknames. Maz, Mazie, Rena maybe. For Cosima we have come up with Cosi (like Cozy), Simcha, Sima (seem-ah), and even Mira :)

DH is in charge of the first name, and I've chosen two middles. What is your favorite?
What are your thoughts about Maxine? Can it work for Leisl's little sister due in January - or is it too "old lady"?
What sort of person do you imagine Maxine as?
What kind of middle names do...
My grandmother's name was Helen Hazel. Helen - or any of it's variations - Helene, Helena, etc - goes well with Hazel.
