On the 1st of October, we welcomed our daughter Aurelia Marigold. She weighed 4 lb 10 oz and is our miracle baby.
We chose Aurelia because of the golden meaning (and our daughter is fair as we...

Margaret is so timeless, classic, and beautiful with Rose and Frances.

Thanks so much for your votes and comments :-)
It is very encouraging that our longterm gut feeling is matching up with yours too. I'm also glad that you don't feel overly burdened by the golden...

We are expecting a little girl in a couple of months, and we'd love your gut reaction on which name is best.
For most of the pregnancy, we have been quite settled on Aurelia Marigold, despite the...
I absolutely love Wolfgang. It was on our boys list - but we got a dog first, and so he got the name. Now that I'm pregnant I keep wishing I could use it again!

I love Margot to bits. She is a bit french, vintage, classy, fresh.
When I hear Frank and Margot, I just think it's perfect. Perhaps it's just that I'm so in love with Margot, but I don't think...

I voted for Hudson, but Lincoln was a rival. They are all lovely strong choices though!
I think Walter James Francis Camp is handsome, so dapper, so strong. I love that it honours two people, and Walt Camp sounds fabulous rather than harsh to me. It has a memorable shortness about it. ...
I can see why people have reservations, but I don't think that those reservations are enough to dismiss it if you love it. It really is so cute, and pronounceable, and recognizable, and manly.
It is such a difficult decision because both are divine.
I'd choose Clementine though, because it feels extra rare.
I think of Jane Austen, but I think that connotation would melt when I met a little boy named it. Also in Australia, I have met a couple of boys named Austin, but I really think Austen looks better....

I think heart. This is the first time I have seen the name Ingimar, and I think it's quite straightforward to pronounce and spell. If it were difficult to read or say and had strange letter...

I like it with something serious, like Luna Margaret or Luna Eleanor or Luna Genevieve.

I voted Reuben, but it was very very close to being Theodore. I love your choices, and think Sullivan, Reuben and Theodore are the best with Adeline.

This is just a delight! I thought 'perfect', it has this wonderful balance between grounded and sparky.

Oh Polly and Lily-O are so sweet! They are rivaling Ollie!
Margot is a name we both want very much - but our surname is Marten with one letter different. We have thought that Margaret and Margot...

Thankyou for all your responses, and for putting to rest my fear that I am not allowed to use Greek names! I agree: There must be no Fred, Luna, Hermione and Olympe.
@cheshirekat I am racking my...

I do worry it's hard to carry especially when I see it on guilty pleasure lists, but then Eleanora and Aurelia which are both on our list just do not hold the same charm for me. I am daring to hope...

Hermione is struck off then.

Thankyou for your Lily opinion - my gut has the same feeling, although I would love it to work. Ollie is adorable though!
Olympia was our favourite but we worried if it was as clunky and GP as...

I have to agree @dearestjules. I am artsy rather than sporty, but striving for ones best can't be a bad thing.

Ahh yes. Of course my child could move to the states, but in Australia there is at least no city with the name.
I would so love to use them as sister names, if we had two girls. But is that too...

My husband loves Juniper and Wihelmina for girls and his out there taste amazes me. I can't seem to put either in the first name spot, but there are several we do agree on - Olympia, Hermione,...

I am so excited for you, and hope that everything stays beautifully healthy!
Josephine - My favourite of your names. Sweet, spunky, yet classic
