I'd introduce her has Alice, and until she's old enough to tell people she prefers otherwise, she'll be called Alice.

I know girls named Arielle and Ariel, and boys named Ariel. I think it's a really pretty name, and I prefer the Arielle spelling. It makes it so feminine and soft at the end.

What do I think?
I think that names that are obviously recognized as masculine names, with histories of being masculine names, are not appropriate for girls.
It also really keeps you on your toes during the delivery process, just wanting to know who the little person is! It's a great motivator.
We wait until birth to find out. It's so exciting that way! There are so many things about the delivery and afterward that are not so pleasant, and having an extra special new piece of info to share...
I wouldn't read that as Ryan, because I'd figure that if you wanted the sound Ryan you would have spelled it that way. Sorry.
