I've met several sets of twins, probably because I went to a large high school and have worked in university admissions. There are also two sets of twins in my immediate family.
Ethan & Emma...
Ah, I love Shepherd! It's my number one choice, but DH isn't quite convinced yet. Jude Shepherd is a fabulous name.
+1 I actually think think Estela and Giselle are right in the same sort of style as Clara and Juliet - romantic, but not frilly.
It's interesting that others think so differently; guess it just...
Ignatius is definitely a "big" name, but I don't think it's a terrible one. It's got history and weight, and I can dig that.
Iggy's a great nickname as is Nate if you want something slightly...
Shilo, I am so happy and excited for you! I wish you a healthy and uneventful rest of your pregnancy :)
I've also been following the fertility struggles that you and some of the other ladies of...
We're planning on having two:
If we had two boys they would be Shepherd Miles & Henry Troy
If we had two girls they would be Camilla Selene & Eleanor Ruth

I think there would be some significant problems with pronunciation.
I do know that occasionally second middle names will get left off of forms/out of databases (at least here in the US) because they just aren't always set up for them, but since a child rarely goes by...
I wouldn't use it for a boy, but then again, I've never been a fan of unisex or gender-bending names. I think the popularity of the recent movie by the same name has brought it back on the radar,...

Just keeping calling him Eli yourselves. If you're making the cake, then put Eli on the cake. Your family might still call him Elias, but if you're always introducing him as Eli to friends,...

To echo another poster, I wouldn't worry about Silvanus, honestly. Most of the time kids won't know another kid's middle name anyway. If you love it, use it!

I think it's moving towards the girls' side, but I still know plenty of male Rileys.
In my experience it seem like most young Rileys (age 10 and under, or so) are girls, whereas many of the older...
It's a gorgeous name. You'd just need to be okay with knowing that 9/10 people would misspell it the first time around.
Although, with the popularity of spelling traditional names in "unique"...

Definitely not, especially if they're going to have different nicknames.
BTW, my husband and his cousin are the same age, share a last name, are both named Matthew. DH goes by his middle name,...

Camila (ka-MEEL-uh)! I love those long "e" sounds, and there just aren't a ton of them in English names.
And Basil (BAZZ-il). That's the proper pronunciation no matter where you are, but...

+1 Finn's already on the rise, and this movie might just propel it to the top!
I tend not to like G, F, Q, U, K, or R.

I'm from the US and a native English speaker, so I can't speak for how these names might fare internationally
1. I think it's a wash. Both are quite easy for me as a native English speaker.
For me, a guilty pleasure name is one that I think is a bit too out there or unusual, and might disadvantage a child. I'm glad that you love your name and feel that having it has given you...
Gabriella and Jacques are beautifully named and might have leap-frogged to the front of my list of favorite royal sibsets.
Eleanor & Beatrix
Of course, this is assuming that my husband was so flabbergasted at having twin girls that he let me get away with naming them names he absolutely hates. A more realistic pair...
I'd like one of each:
DS: Shepherd Miles
DD: Margot Selene
My hubby just chimed in and said he'd want three:
DS/DS (twins): Elias & Paschal

1. gemstone? Ruby

I'm an American and I immediately thought of the comics/cartoon. Then again, I spent a semester studying abroad in Belgium, so I'm probably not representative of the American population as a whole...

LOVE Barnaby. I'm in boy mode today, so here are some suggestions on that end. I noticed that both of you children's names end with the -es/-as sound--is that something you'd like to continue, or...
