Thank you everyone, loving the suggestions! Was hoping to get more love for Ignatius but you've definitely put Solomon in a better light for me! Watch out for the birth announcement!
Thank you all so much for the feedback, it's brilliant! When baby arrives I'll be sure to post a birth announcement!
Thanks for the feedback, interesting that Solomon is the favourite! I'm nervous about Sol as a nickname. I'm not worried about Augustus and Ignatius both ending in 'us' Gus rarely gets called by his...

I've asked the same question on the boys forum, but need help with the girls list too. Baby 3 is due on Saturday, if it's a girl our options are:
Baby 3 is due on Saturday. If it's a boy our options are:
Solomon (nn Sol or Solly)
Ignatius (nn Iggy or Nate)
Peregrine (nn Perry).
Possible middle names are Ingram, Jude or Francis....
Britkarma, Frederic is probably my least favoured option but DH won't let it go!
I just can't imagine looking down at a tiny baby called Frederic! Or even Fred or Freddie!

In no real order, I think these combinations work well -
Theodore Merrick or Theodore Leander
Nolan Merrick or Nolan Leander or Nolan Elliot
Henry Alderidge ...

I'm fond of Jude Anthony. Elijah Kenneth doesn't flow off the tongue for me and Isaiah Francis seems very religious to me, which of course may not bother you at all!
We've now got a shortlist of boys names for baby 3. I would love all of your honest thoughts -
Frederic (Fred, french spelling)
Solomon (Sol or Solly) and
Peregrine (Perry, not...
Some great suggestions, lots of which I hadn't thought of! Plenty to add to the non-existent short list. Thank you all.
Thanks sarajf83, you are probably right about Florence. We live in a 'hipster baby name' area so it pops up a bit, there's a Florence in my son's daycare group, one of the mum's at prenatal yoga...
Thanks seazun86, Frederick nn Fred has been on the shortlist since before we had Theo. I just can't quite imagine a baby Fred or Bert! Percy is appealing as it was my husband's grandfathers name. But...
Great suggestions jtay07, I like Wesley but husband is not keen, love Solomon but am unsure what the nn would be, Finn, Elliott and Roman are already taken by family/friends. You've given me plenty...

I have a niece called Adeline and I have never thought of 'add a line'! She's mostly called Addie.
Baby number three will soon be here and we've absolutely no names picked! Our two boys are Theodore Henry (Theo) and Augustus Jack (Gus).
I'd love an older style name that has a shorter nickname....
I'd love your help to come up with a shortlist of names for baby number 3. Our older sons are Theodore Henry (Theo) and Augustus Jack (Gus).
We've liked Florence but I'm worried it is too popular...
I love Adelaide, the others don't appeal to me, sorry!
They went with Rafferty Alban (welsh word for solstice). Thanks for the input!
My sister just had a baby boy. His first name is Rafferty, we are searching for a middle name. Hopefully related to the winter solstice as we are in Australia and he was born on the solstice....
I love it! If it didn't sound so foolish with Theo (our first sons name) it'd be on my short list!
Theo! But I'm biased, it's a great name that I've found very 'user friendly' for our son.
Thanks all. I'm not too fussed about the 'us' ending. Gus is rarely Augustus in full and I doubt an Ignatius would be used regularly either. I'll think on it more.
