There is a little boy named Rush where I work. Unfortunately there is also a Cohen, which isn't bizarre but it was really disappointing.

I have loved names since I was 13. I posted on the Baby Names World forums until they were shut down.
I mostly keep my name obsession a secret, but will gladly talk about it if I feel comfortable....
Arabella is an Arctic Monkeys song!
@psalm465 That is a precious idea!
@jamjam I totally agree with a name being your sense of identity. But would you want to identify with a name that is so widely hated?
@mulme944 I respect that completely. I think giving a child a...
I'm going to start off by saying that this situation is hypothetical, but the people and circumstances are real.
I met a little girl while visiting family this weekend. She stays at a family...
My name is Chelsie. I'm a college student and preschool worker. I'm 22, not married, no kids. I am not so patiently waiting on motherhood, but I know my time will come. I've loved...
Ellis - I do enjoy the sound of this, although if I heard it out loud I would assume you were saying "Ella's"
Celia - I adore Celia. Such a beautiful name and it pairs flawlessly with Max.

Thanks again to everyone's replies!
I'm certainly not blind to the hardships and exhaustion of parenting. I definitely like handing my daycare kids over at the end of the day. But somedays I just...

Oh, but I work in the 2 year old class! My assistant and I have 15 little hooligans. Call me crazy, but its only made it worse! I love those little crazy monsters. We have a good time. I cry when my...

Thank you for your insight! Just to clarify, I do not have immediate plans to get pregnant or adopt. Not in the slightest. I must wait until my degree, then for a career, then for my house, etc....

We truly are quite similar! Although, I rushed things along and have planned to start officially looking into adoption if I am still forever alone at 25. My heart is so ready, I cannot stand to wait...

I'm 22 and in college. I graduate in a little over two years. I'm also desperate to be a mother.
Meanwhile, all my friends from 18-24 already have their husbands and their kids and their life all...

For me, I determine popular names by how popular they are in my area. I work at a daycare and am often in elementary school classrooms for various reasons. If I have seen it on multiple children, I...

Since Imogen and Imagene are pronounced very differently, I don't feel it has the same connection.
If I am going to use her name, I want it to be her actual name letter for letter. I also don't...
I think its a sweet nickname and Beatrice is lovely.

My grandmother's name was Imagene (eye-muh-jeen) Her first name was Doris, but she went by her middle.
She passed away when I was young and I have always thought to use her name as a middle if I...

They may be a little misguided and certainly not up to the nameberry standard, but there is no reason to use such harsh language against them.
There are nicer ways to word things!
Beverly certainly isn't the vibe I'm going for! And it reminds me of all the hours I sat and groaned as a child while my father forced us to watch Beverly Hillbillies. :P
Evera is interesting....
Everine is super interesting. I have to say though...I do say this a bit like Wolverine. Which may be a good or a bad thing. Lol
Evermore is fabulous. It gives off an Edgar Allen Poe vibe. If I...
Never heard of Whitt on its own before, but it's definitely growing on me. And it does pair well with Ace.
The only thing that bothers me is that some people may find it feminine. I knew a lot of...

Oh how I adore both of those names. Sadly though, I do agree with the others. It's upsetting that girls can get away with virtue names quicker than boys can. Living in the south, I meet many siblings...
I feel a little silly that I didn't even realize Everett was an Ever name and he's my number one. Duh! Must be the lack of sleep!
I do like Everly. It just sounds a tad trendy to me which makes...
