It depends, I like both. It really depends on the name, the nickname choices and how long the name is.
I'll use my favourite names as examples.
I love Mattie for Matilda, Charlie for Charlotte,...
Louisa is definitely my favourite, it sounds great with Martin and Jude. I'm not a fan of Ginn though, maybe Louisa Wren or Louisa Genevieve?
Adelaide and Anastasia were the two that popped into my head straight away
I automatically though Dick after reading Moby. Maybe as a middle instead? I wouldn't use it as a first
Kate definitely, Katie sounds a bit juvenile

August Leopold sounds great! It has a dramatic flair and sounds majestic. Not stuffy at all :)
I can honestly say that it is probably one of my least favourite names out there. It sounds so annoying and whiny, NEE-NAH. I know lots of people on here love it, I just don't understand why. And the...

I like Nell, Rory and Wren.
I love the nickname Ace, and I am planning to use it for my favourite boy name Austen. I also like it as a nickname for Atticus and August
I love Phoenix and Griffin and I think they work really well together. However, if I had to choose, I think Phoenix actually sounds more feminine than Griffin. Griffin feels all boy to me.
I love Eliza! Beth seems very dull, bland and plain. Eliza is vibrant and full of life.
Atticus! I love the name Atticus
Love it! Theodore Caspian sounds great and not too long at all :)

My husband and I always were planning to adopt. Doctors told me I would never be able to have a child because of my medical condition, but after hearing those words that it would never happen,...
Sorry but it's way to close to demon for me. Maybe it's my accent, but all I can hear is demon. I love Elijah and Zachariah though
Ellie (nickname only)
Adelaide Skye is definitely my favourite. Although I don't like the name Skye, I think it works really well together with Adelaide :)
Jo is my name! Well, my name is Josephine, but I go almost exclusively by Jo :) I love it, it's short and sweet. And I have never met another girl Jo in my 23 years. I was named after Jo March from...
My favourites are Oz for Oscar and Austen/Austin
Lincoln Thomas is my favourite
