I think Esme is a good choice if you love it. Most people won't be using her middle name, so pronunciation shouldn't be too much of an issue.

I like the idea of using Grace as a middle in order to honor the child you lost.

My middle son's name is Flynn & we love it still!
Other suggestions based on your list (sorry for any repeats)...
Honestly I didn't even connect that, but that would really bug me now that I see it. Our other middle name is Lawson. So Theo Lawson is the new option!

My youngest is named Oliver so I'm very partial to that one, but I also like Mateo (I love Matthias which is similar) & Milo.

Which is your favorite for a first name with middle name Birdie?
I love Ella Rue, I think that's beautiful!
If you took the el from Rachel & used ma frim Amanda transposed, you'd get Elma which is cute! My name is Rachel & I go by Chella which is kinda like mashing Rachel & Amanda/Olivia.
I love Louisa, it's been on my list for years. I have all boys though & I don't feel like Louisa would fit in with their names (Seth .. Flynn .. Ollie). I can do fun nicknames with Louisa though.

I love Greer & Ellington ... Both are wonderful! Collins has been on my lists too, I think that's a great choice too. I feel Emma & Isla might be a little too overused especially with the great...
We have an Emma & a Tillie in the family but I don't mind Etta, that's a cute one! And, I do like the nickname Joey for Josephine!
Rosie / Rosalie
Non EE names
I am really struggling to find girls names that I like that sound good with Birdie as a middle name. Birdie is important to me, it was my grandmas name & I really want to honor her.
My 4 faves are ::
Rosalie, Lucy, Nora(h), Penelope
And I don't dislike any of the names on the list, but if there has to be a bottom 4 mine would be ::
Lucia, Isabelle, Genevieve, Lydia
We welcomed baby Oliver Estes on April 2nd!
3rd baby, 3rd boy! Brothers Seth Willis & Flynn Thomas adore him!!
