For my theatre class I have to write a short 3 minute play featuring 2 characters and I need help with their names! The play is set in modern times, but I don't want any trendy names.

I think they are fine. Both are Welsh so you have that theme there. Like a few other posters have said, if you plan on having other kids you'll have to keep that in mind.

Anna Bay- I like this as a first and middle name pair, but not as a double name.
Annabel- Cute, prefer Annabeth or Annakate
Anneliese- Seems a little much with your boys names being so short and...
Are Annika and Nicola too close for sisters? We love both names and would like to use both, but not if it would be too confusing.
I love the name Maddie, but we don't like any of the full names it is usually short for. Can Maddie or Madie be used on its own?
Davina is very high on my list of girls names! I love Davina Claire, Davina Meredith, and Davina Faye!
