Say: Hello girls!
Think: I love Flora, and Honey is a GP of mine, but I can't say that I like Nanetta and Dagny very much.
These are my sons, Alfie David and Matthew Elliott.
I swear this was me when I saw how high up Elsie moved, and normally I'm not even bothered with the popularity!
I was actually about 16 when I first found it - I was looking up meanings of a few names, and the page to McKenna (at one time, my top choice) led me here. It sort of evolved from there!

Definitely! haha, I think a lot of my list is like this to be honest;
Matthew Ernest is gorgeous - two of my favourite boys names!
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who loves Matthew :) It looks like Matthew Elliott is the best option so far, thanks everyone :)
Doris - meaning 'gift of the ocean'; absolutely love this
Ottilie - underused, old-fashioned, and cute, but easily stands on it's own
Lavinia - gorgeous, less known Shakespearean name...
Matthew has long been my top choice for a boy, but I've never really settled on a middle name. I have 6 potential combinations, but I'm unsure on which names liven up Matthew/add some variety to the...

Totally - I know quite a few Ruth's who are under 30, and I work with a woman who's named Ruthie, not a nickname for anything. I think it works.
I don't think you NEED to do it - but you definitely need to respect your husband in all this too. If he loves certain names, don't you think it's a bit unfair to automatically cancel them out...
From the list you shared, I like;

'I love the name Poppy but it's way too cute for anything other than a dog or a doll to wear, so what can I use as a longer form for it?!?! DH HATES Penelope, and I hate Ophelia, as that's DH's ex...

Charlotte is usually on my list in the middle spot, only because of how many I know who are under 10. In the past/present, I have/had;
Anna (only because I prefer the Annabelle spelling)
I love it! I love the previous suggestion of Aquinnah Isabelle too :)
Henrietta is one of my favourites, haha awkward. I like just Nettie, if I'm honest, but Jeanette and Antoinette sound like good ideas too.
I would be honoured, but, I would likely suggest an alternative name/spelling, because I really do dislike my name, haha.

Milo Zephyr and Eli Zachariah
I really like Claire, Natalie, Samuel, Eve, and Vera, haha.
If I had 16 children;
1. Matthew Winston
2. Doris Evelina
3. Minnie Beatrice
4. Freya Eleanor
5. Louis Christopher
