My favorite first name from your list is hands down Ruby. It is spunky and yet classic. It sounds awesome on a toddler but ages really well. For middle names I would go with:

I really like Gwyneth Eliza. I think it has the same feel as Nora. Really pretty combination!
Ok I am admitting defeat especially if you factor in the Juliette votes. Thank you so much to everyone who voted and commented! (On all my threads) It has been a HUGE help. And since DH isn't allowed...
Ruby and Eleanor are gorgeous together. And I think any middle name goes when there is a family tie. Lovely names!
My vote goes for Greta hands down! And since Rosalind was one of the middles I like and I tried soooo hard to get DH to get on board with Greta I would second mischa's suggestion of Greta Rosalind....
My mom hated the name too. They will learn to love it on an actual child. As long as your fiancé and you like it that is the main thing. I know from personal experience just how cute it is on little...
Thanks for the continued comments. It looks like I'm going to lose out on the middle name but DH is going to lose out on his preferred spelling so we both compromise. He really likes Juliette but I...
Ooh it is so close....but I'm still losing!! For those of you voting for Juliet - what am I not seeing in this combination? I even think Iris Josephine flows better.
Any insight would be...

If you do a double barrel name you don't need to have a middle name. I know 3 people with names like that and none of them have a middle name. Actually, you don't need a middle name regardless of...
This was a name we were considering early on but ultimately dismissed it because as people have posted already some like it as a nickname for Sylvia. If you live in a French speaking area then my...
Ya I do like them both. Im just curious what everyone else seems to think. Obviously I'm leaning towards Jospehine but if the majority go with Juliet then I would go with that since DH loves it. And...
So most of you know my husband is in love with the name Iris Juliet. I like Iris Josephine. I was just wondering what most of you thought .... Also which spelling of Juliet? Juliette?

Thanks for all the positive comments. I think Ramona is a battle I won't win with my husband. I have tried. He doesn't even warm up to it. :(
I like Josephine. And Juliet is still an option. I...

I like a lot of these (Genevieve, Winifred, Virginia, Georgina) I'll have to toss them around and see if one sticks out.
And I just wanted to say thank you for replying on pretty much every thing...

Thank you for the suggestions so far...I like Helena, Leona and Gwendolyn but not sure if I'm sold on them. Names like Vivienne and Natalie are nice but maybe too vanilla? I had Josephine picked out...

So for those of you following my threads you will know that my husband has changed his mind a couple of times on "the" name. However, he seems to be set on Iris and has promised he won't change his...

Thanks to everyone for the new comments! Our last name is a nature name (But it sounds OK with Iris) However, Iris Rosalie just becomes waaaay too much. Although it is a gorgeous name.

Thanks everyone. But now DH has changed his mind (AGAIN). I have a new thread started.
It isn't common here either. Sometimes I get the vair-a pronunciation instead of veer-a. But other than that it has been really positive.
I should mention my mom really didn't like...
Hah that is how mine has been with this baby. Every time I think we have "the" name he changes his mind. Men can be so frustrating! ;)
And I don't mind sharing. Adelaide is her middle name. I...

Margaret is a family name. But no one in my family likes it. Haha. But I see it is a favorite on here.
Thanks for the suggestions.
Would anyone else like to provide any middle name...
I have a daughter named Vera and I love it so much. It was the name I wanted from the start but DH wasn't on board. At all. But it really grew on him after a while. So maybe all your husband needs is...
