First of all, I really like all of your names and the options you have and I think the names on your revised middles for Alexander all sound a bit better to my ear than Silvan (which I love as a name...
I know I'm late in saying so, but congrats @lilea!
I haven't seen those specific posts on facebook, but I have seen some with similar sentiment and they do feel so soul crushing. I haven't had a...

All your names are so lovely, but, to my ear, I think Sylvie and Bridget work the best.
The stressed ending of Colette and Estelle butt up against the stressed first syllable of the equal length...

I think it really comes down to which image you prefer. If you want to go for a regal (and more mainstream) theme, you can't do better than Katherine and Elizabeth. If you want something more...
Hello everyone, it's been a while since I've been on nameberry, but I thought I would check in. Sorry all for not keeping up with you all!
I'm in my TWW now and am not so patiently waiting for it...
Hey @moondreams, I'm in the exact same boat regarding the traveling and testing situation. I'm feeling pretty negative about the prospects of pregnancy though, so I think that's helping me accept...
@jessblond - Oh! I'm so, so very sorry to hear about your loss. My thoughts are with you.
Ok, I guess it's time I come over here from the 2015 thread since it pretty much seems to have ended. I...
Reuben came directly to mind. I think it goes very will with Naomi and has a similar quality to the other names you listed. Tobin is another that I think would work very well. Good luck!
Oh, @lilhan! I am so, so sorry for your loss. My heart is with you, and I send my thoughts of support.

Did your grandfather have a Hebrew or Yiddish name? If so, did it begin with a different letter than 'I'? Thank may give you an alternative way of naming after your grandfather. Or, if you plan on...

I love the look and flow of Sylvie Marilyn. Like someone else said, it has a wonderful Old Hollywood feel to it. Sylvie Poet is less evocative and does not flow as well in my mind.

I've also heard Poppy used as a nn for Calliope. Good luck!

I love, love, love Odelia and it's such good luck that it's a family name for you! However, Odelia Daffodil is for too 'd' heavy for me, so I didn't vote. Odelia Plum would be charming though!
I much prefer Celia. Celia is a darling name.
Wow, congrats @lilhan, and @asche @jessblond!!!
Sorry I've been away from this thread for so long. AF came and I'm now on CD 13 of the next cycle. I've been pretty down, but also very busy. If...

I think Beatrix Astoria is sweet with your two girls, but I do actually like Beatrix Annora, as suggested above a bit better.
If you don't mind an 'a' name up front, I think Anouk would go...
I love Fritz as a nn for Frederick! Frits (Dutch spelling) was a very popular name in my father's family a few generations back, so I may be a bit partial. Anyway, I think it's a super fun, spunky...

I don't have any specific in put, but I just wanted to say that I think you're right in now worrying about pronunciation variations. I personally grew up with international family pronouncing my...
@Blade, It's always nice to see you around here! I appreciate your medical and name-related insight.
I'm maybe 7 dpo now and trying to be more calm about it right now. ...
@larskpur - that sounds awful. I hope your levels keep going down.
@jessblonde - I hope you're vacation lightens your spirit.
I'm so sorry to hear so many of you...
Congratulations! Robin Yves is precious!

I'm another vote for Lewis or Theo.
Coen isn't actually pronounced the same way as Cohen in Dutch, so I think you'll probably want to stay away from if for that reason. If you use the Dutch...
I think Ella Merritt is lovely. Merritt is very unisex to me, perhaps because it is traditionally a surname. Is there a reason you don't want to use Marit? I personally much prefer it, and it...
Wow, there's been lots of activity here!
@jessblonde and @cyoung - I'm so, so sorry to hear that you both are out this month. Sending my warmest thoughts to you guys.
