Congratulations on the new addition! I know this is a very late post, but I was just wondering how you guys are pronouncing her name? I've heard different pronunciations and was just interested in...

I guess this is a multiple part question. I've loved the name Zephyr for a very long time, and just recently became fixated with the idea of it for a girl as opposed to a boy. I like the...

While I get your concern, I don't think theres anything wrong with a theme (plus most people aren't so well-versed in astrology and may not actually pick up on it). In any case, some alternatives to...
I really like Sapphira/Saphira, although the biblical reference throws me off a little. There's also the Spanish version, Zafira.
What do you think of the name Illyria? What images does it bring to mind? Can you imagine it aging well? How about Illyria Therese? I really love it. I enjoy its ethereal quality, but also think it...
Aside from the obvious connections to Beyonce's sister, do you like the name Solange? I can't really find any threads on it on Nameberry. I really like the name and the sound (I make a point to say...
A woman in my mother's church just had a baby named Rubina and I think it's awesome. I couldn't find very much about the name on Nameberry (or anywhere else on the internets for that matter), so what...
Hey guys :) Currently my favorite names are Atticus and Zephyr, and my perfect future family consists of two boys and one girl. I've been trying to find a great, similarly distinct name to go with...
So it took a while to realize but I love the long O sound in girl's names, usually in the middle and followed by an a.
I love Balthazar! And part of that comes from the possibility of nickname Baz. He just sounds cool, and he could be the soccer star who would rather read books than party or the theater geek who's...

I actually think Caden with a C is the nicest spelling, and the one that would mesh the best with the potential sibset.
I forgot to add Caspian! Leander and Caspian *swoon*
Also like a PP mentioned, Casimir is nice.
Well it seems that the P is here to stay. That being said, do you guys prefer Balthazar "Baz" or Ptolemy "Tollie"?
Also which potential sibset do you prefer:
Atticus, Balthazar, and Roma
I really second whoever suggested Leander and Cyprian.
Leander is name that falls into one of my favorite categories: old (in the sense of mythology), easy to spell and pronounce, not too...
So a while back I posted on the name Ptolemy, and a significant amount of the feedback said they liked the name in sound but found it a little pretentious. So I kind of just gave up. But I still find...
Ramona, please! I've started loving it recently, so cute! In my ears, it's warm and spunky and robust (weirdest description ever, yes). But for some reason, I much prefer the nickname Roo to Romy. So...
I really like it (and was pondering it a few weeks ago), but there's the trouble of what to name a second child. What comes next after the highest point? Eclipse? (I only say this in half-jest...
Thanks so much, I really enjoyed your suggestions. Any other names you like, even if you think they're in a different vein? You seem to have great taste. Also, on the subject of feminine variations...
Lila is nice but a little boring. I like that Isis is strong and feminine, without the predictable A ending.

Sorry, I'm not sure if someone already said this, but I LOVE LOVE Lavender in your signature.
It's so calming and always makes me think of the scent of lavender.
I like Lavender Cove. Cove is...
I've really been enjoying Ramona. I love that it's uncommon but familiar and the sound is warm and robust (weird description, I know, but that's what I get from it).
But I've always...

This is a hard one, but I think the name that always comes back is Xanthe. I love how individual it is. Less common than sister names Chloe, Phoebe, and Penelope, but (in my opinion) the most...
Thanks guys, these were really fun to read. Anyone else? I'm sure that Nameberry has a boundless cup of awesome, splendiferous names :)
The other day I started playing Sims 3 again. My female sim gave birth to a girl, and as I prepared to name her suddenly I decided, "Who the hell cares? Let's go all out!"
