My favorites (in order from favorite to least favorite):
Yes! I see all of these names quite usable. I've even (vagualy) known a boy named Blue.
But, personally, I can only see Red as a boy's name, Blue is unisex, Indigo is my guilty pleasure boy's name...
I LOVE Gryphon, especially since it links back to Lewis Caroll's spelling in his famous book Alice in Wonderland, but I feel that it might be a bit too complicated a spelling...

Personally, I've always favorited Isobel above all and still pronounce it the same as the other two.
Anyhow, out of your two spellings, I prefer Isabelle.
