I have a Margot too!!
My other top choice was Phoebe, and I think it goes really well with Margot.
I also adore Fiona!
Matilda is nice but maybe too much m with Margot. Also Lucy.

Hi! This is late, but...
Our baby girl was born in July, we named her Margot Story.
We sometimes call her Mars for short. :)
Big brother Henry Atlas is smitten, and so are we!

Lovely lovely lovely! I absolutely love Indie! And Margot is (I am pretty sure) what we are going with for my baby girl due in two weeks.
I love Jo so much for Josephine, and also Josie is cute.
I was thinking you could call her Minnie, taking the M sound from Emma and the end of Josephine. Honestly, I think any cutesy "Em" or "J"...
I really like Hero and think it is usable! I am not sure most people would get the Shakespeare reference (but for those that do, awesome!). From the baby and little kid names I've heard in story...

Maybe you could pair a classic name you both can agree on with a more interesting middle name, like:
I love Story! I think it's so spunky and quirky and fresh!
Eloise Story is so super cute!
I also like Winnie Jean and Phoebe Mae!
My favorite on your boys list is Foster Jude.

Ooh, I second the suggestion of Memphis! Love it!
Emmeline Astrid! Similar to Aspen, I think.
My favorites from your list are Emmeline Bea and Emmeline Scout, both are adorable.
Emmeline Poppy is cute and spunky.
I also really like...

Twins named Nora and Willa, so cute!
Oh, and a boy named Ocean.
I love Prairie!
I also love Indigo and Story for girls!
I just met a little boy named Ocean yesterday, so cool. I think Shepherd would be great with your girls (nn Shep is so good, too). I...
Hi, I love Poppy as a middle name for Margot, but my husband doesn't like Poppy (he says it makes him think of a grandpa called "poppy").
I love that its spunky, bright, fresh, cheerful, short and...
I think Hugo would be super cute with Margo!
I like it, and especially as a middle name!
I love Margot, it's our top choice! I don't think of Maggot at all, I don't really get that.
I think it's such a classic and spunky name that works well on a little girl and a woman. I'm so happy...
What do you think of Hunter on a girl?
I encountered a very adorable girl Hunter, and now I find it charming (you know how that happens!). It never occurred to me before as a girl...

How about Penelope and you could call her Poppy?
Penelope Noise is so cute!
I am thinking about Zoe as a middle name for Margot, I like that it is short and spunky.
I think I should stick with the original Zoe, but visually, Zoe seems a little abrupt to me (and when I...

Thanks for all the ideas!
Margot Elise - I have never considered Elise before, it does sound nice with Margot

With 7 weeks to go, I think my husband and I have decided on Margot for our baby girl.
I have a lot of combo ideas, but have yet to find the one that feels like THE one, so I was hoping to...
Ah, I love love love Wylie! So happy to see it used. And it is so perfect with the adorable Bea.
I get it, searching for the elusive perfect name! And you don't know it until you find it. It's so hard!
Maybe you need to think about unique nicknames for vintage names to capture both elements?...
Deborah is just okay, to me. I love that Lavender makes it spunkier!
I prefer Deb for a nickname, rather than Debby.
