Baby is here! Any more last minute opinions??
Erin91, we're pretty sure her middle name will be Maayan. Our last name has e's in it but no i's. I wrote it out both ways a few weeks ago and thought Leora looked better, but that could be skewed by...

It's funny that Leora is winning in the poll, but among those of you who felt strongly enough to post a response, I get the sense that Liora is the favorite! Enough that I'm now doubting my choice....

Thanks for the extremely helpful responses so far! If it helps explain my style, my first daughter's name is Dahlia. So you can see we went with the more English spelling of a Hebrew name.

I'm due in a few days with my second girl, who we've pretty much agreed to name Leora or Liora.
I prefer Leora and my husband prefers Liora. To me, Leora looks prettier. Plus, when I see Liora I...

Thanks! Several of those names we already have among family/close friends. But I'm trying to decide if I might like Liora. Maybe I like it spelled Leora. Though it's not a name in English like...

I'm currently expecting my second girl. My first daughter's name is Dahlia, which we chose because it's a name in both English and Hebrew (a top priority for us). I'm having so much...
Love it! But that's what I named my daughter, so I'm biased :)
I also prefer Hazel to Tabitha, and I think Hazel Thomas sounds softer and prettier than the somewhat harsh Tabitha Thomas. Hazel Sophia is a beautiful name!
I just wanted to first add to the chorus of posters who are praising Liam Orion as a wonderful name, and also to sympathize with your dilemma! I can see why you and your husband are so set on the...

I'm not joking about this one. There was a woman who came in to apply for a job, and her first name was written La-a.
How does she pronounce it you might ask? la-DASH-ah. She actually says the...
