Thank you all for responding!
1) Thanks to everyone for suggesting flipping the names around. I feel silly for not thinking of Walker William. Probably because all my brain power to being...
I know that this has happened to others of you, but I'm still upset.
We had originally come down to two names for a boy and had finally decided on Malcolm as our boy's choice. Yesterday we heard...
Thanks to those who responded.
William Walker - oh, I love this! I hadn't even thought of putting William and Walker together!
William Roderick - I love this too! And we can use Rory if we want!...
I have to say how excited I am to be here for this! Congratulations!!! I read as much as I could of the naming odyssey for Roo and I love your naming style. Seeing my new love, Roderick, on your list...
Hi everyone! I am so thankful for all your help.
We have come to some sort of consensus for several boys' names. What do you think? Last name is still Lewi$ of course. Any middle name suggestions...
I think this may be the first non-Bump related post but I had to share. My mother was talking to some friends and one of them mentioned twins she had met over the weekend.
They are Leo and Emma....
Thanking everyone for their help!
We have decided on Rosemarie Blythe if Bump is a girl.
I think we will have a longer list for a boy, no matter what.
For a while, we thought that Frederick William was it but now my DH says he just doesn't feel the love. He adores the name Rosemarie and wants to adore a boy's name as well.
We made a list of...
We have decided on Rosemarie for our baby if its a girl. The middle name is up in the air though. We have some wonderful suggestions so far but still...
Our current list is:
claireelise - I really like Rosemarie Blythe, Rosemarie June and Rosemarie Claire! We were thinking of using Claire as a FN at one point.
niftylavalamp - love your id! Rosemarie Anne and Rosemarie...
Well, we have fallen in love with the name Rosemarie and can't imagine using anything else. We even love the nicknames Rosie, Mae and Romy if we decide to use a nickname as she gets older.
So, we stopped arguing about boy's names to talk some more about the girl's - where we have too many good ones! Why aren't boys names like this?
Still on the list:

So, after a few posts and more discussion getting us nowhere fast, I sent DH roaming through the boy forum postings for a while. We decided to try to think of names we could actually imagine calling...
Being American, I pronounce Claire sort of like Clayr. I personally pronounce Clara, Cla-rah with the first a sounding like the a in Harris. I am afraid it will be pronounced Clayr-ah. What do you...

So, we can find out whether the Bump is a boy or girl and can't decide what to do!
I kind of want to be surprised and he kind of wants to know - and both of these stem more from naming Bump as...

I came home early from work and took some time to rest, try to eat and go over our girl's name list. You all had great ideas!
We both like most of these names and feel they can replace Alice which...
While home feeling less than perky today (I can't wait til I feel like eating again! And its been over 3 months) I put together the starting list of boys names.
I think we have a lot to choose from....
I have been searching for names for our Bump and posted earlier about how to start. I got a great starting off. I also realized most of the names I like I can't use because of my last name, Lewi$. We...
I posted earlier about our pregnancy and how to start finding names. Well, after some reading of lists and posts, it occurred to me that Alice embodied all I wanted in a girl's name....
Thank you everyone - time to sit and think.
Introduced all of this to Husband and he is much more interested in the possibilities than I expected. He thinks Wim (pronounced whim, though I did...
Thanks for the starting tips. Can't wait to share with my husband.
taz The ideas in your post made me think of Mary and Ann as separate names. I have seen Mae on several posts and I like it....
I am expecting! We decided to try and, based on the experience of friends, were prepared to wait. Apparently, the baby wasn't. I was ok until a friend asked about names.
So, where do I start. I...
