It's your story- name her what you want to name her.
Tysa is a good name. It makes me think it's a feminine version of Tyson. Totally legitimate, in my opinion.
We named our family dog this; he has since passed. :(

What a nice story! :)
I vote for Lauren, Lauryn, or Laurel.

I agree with the previous poster: Lydia Adele and then call her Adelia/h. :)
Thanks for all your responses! Sorry I haven't said anything until now. I don't get on here that often, and sometimes I forget when I've posted anything. lol
But anyway, I do like the idea of...

This is a very interesting topic. I've always wondered about it, but I'm only here off & on. So, it's not a huge issue for me.
I would like to say, however, as an almost 29-year-old woman who...

My soon-to-be ex-husband was all about naming a son after himself. Drove me crazy. Luckily, we never got that far in our marriage, so it's a non-issue now. But when it was an issue, I hated the...
I've always loved the name Brandon. It has positive associations for me, so it makes me sad that it's now considered dated. Brendan always seemed like a knock-off. haha No offense to anyone- it is...
I'm a writer, and I love to read. I decided semi-recently that some names deserve a mention. And I want to do that via boys' middle names.

Aurora - Love it, but I agree with a lot of other posters: too princessy and maybe unrealistic for a real person.
Rory - I used to think it was fine as a girl's name, but I think I've been...
I feel like it's the same as when people use Bella and any variation. It makes it seem like you could possibly be a crazed fan of whatever the name is from.
But if you don't know any kids with...

Beautiful and simple as a first name.
It used to be at the top of my middle names list, but I've come up with others since. While it may be overused and a filler, if it really goes with the...

I'm blanking on my mother's grandmothers' names, as I didn't really know them. They lived in Costa Rica.

My dad's two sisters have the same middle name: Joy
I think it's pretty cool that they're connected by a name.
And I think it's ignorant to assume that people who use the same middle name for...
I absolutely love Anastasia! It's a name I wish I could use. It's just not realistic for us, I guess. Same with Aurora. Anyway, I also love the French variation Anastasie. Sigh.... So pretty. :)...

Hmmm...I didn't finish the Hunger Games books because I didn't enjoy them. So I didn't remember a Rory. But maybe since it's a popular series, you should use something different.
I looked up...
