Thanks! I love Simon Hawk or Simon Cole. Unfortunately, Cole is a nickname for school in Spain so I won't be able to use that one. But I had never thought about Hawk. Putting it on the list!!!

I LOVE Heath!! I think it is a really surprising choice and very nice with Eliza. It is hard to find names that are unique but not pretentious. A warm, manly name. In the same vein, I think Penn,...
I don't like Walter (it has nerdy associations for me). The other two are very handsome and classy. They also age well imo.

I didnt vote because I couldn't choose. Both are adorable. Tho I do agree that Everett Gray is cuter and more timeless imo than Grayson. William Beckett is very handsome and I love Beck/Beckett.

Looking for a middle for Simon. Big brother is Oliver Mateo. Our last name is a four-syllable, double-barrel Spanish & American last name like Hernandez-Jones
What would you choose? Anything goes....
Love LOVE love Bear and even Finch and Wolf, but there seems to be real pronunciation difficulties here with one-syllable words (oddly enough). I think the middle has to be 2 or 3 syllables.
Amazing list! Thank you for putting so much thought into it. While I like a lot of them, I´m having a hard time seeing how my husband´s side would pronounce them. We already get enough slack that our...
The name has to work in Spain and in the US, so I have a hard time convincing my husband to consider names that sound too american or what he considers "not a real name" so Simon Fox won't work :(...

What about Emmett or Everett? I don't love Camden, but think the nickname Cam is very cool for a boy... maybe you can just name him Cam?
Poll: which would you choose?
Our shortlist for a brother for Oliver/Ollie due in June. Which would you choose? And what would you use as a middle name? (anything goes, but I'm partial to outdoorsy or word names)
Thanks for all the great, honest replies!! I might be even more confused now hahaha.
So I am really liking Simon for Oliver's brother. It makes me nervous that Simon is in the 230s on the US baby name rankings. To me it seems like a simple, biblical name that should appeal to the...

Dominic for a brother to Oliver Mateo? Looking for something that will work in Spain and US. Husband really likes this one. I don't dislike it, but not sure how it would be received... if it is dated...
Thanks for all the opinions! It is really helping. My husband has gotten stuck on Dominic, but I am not sure I LOVE it. I just see at as a reasonable compromise name, but that is kind of sad :/
@Ew314 Of course you can reply! :) Any English-speaker is useful!! I actually love a lot of the names you have in your signature, but my husband is Spanish and has vetoed a lot of names because they...
What are your first impressions / opinions about these names? I've lived out of the US for so long that I'm not sure how they would go over for our 2nd baby boy. Honest, blunt feedback wanted!!

@oregano7 @truenature If we had a third baby, we wouldn't go for an O-name (though I do like Orla for a girl :)). I don't think I would feel pressure even though one would be "left out." I'd just...

My son is Oliver/Ollie and I am seriously considering Owen for his brother (due in June). We might only have two kids. The letter theme for kids has never appealed to me, but how cheesy is it??...
I like Max. Simple, sweet and age-adaptable. I don't mind Austin either, though maybe it is slightly dated? I find Edward stuffy and trying-too-hard, but I know lots of people don't agree! Goodluck.

Turns out our Nora/Thea/María/Luna might actually be a BOY! We are looking for a name that is easy to pronounce or similar in Spanish and English since we go back and forth between Spain...

I know it may not be the most common pronunciation, but we will probably say Thee-uh so Thea María just rhymes a bit too much. I love all our tops and since we may only have one girl it is just so...

We are TTC Baby #2. What would you name a sister to Oliver Mateo? We are looking for simple, religious somewhere in FN or MN and bi-cultural (Spanish-English). Please vote on our favorites so far!!...

I love the idea of Brecken/Breckin. What about just Breck or even Beck or Beckett?
