To me, I find Daniel/Danny common, popular, and non-exciting. I grew up with a number of Daniel's in my class, etc.
I would call names like John, Jack, and Henry timeless and classic.

Grant fits well if you want to continue the G/Gr theme. With three Gr's, though, it might be too much? Personally, I'd prefer a different beginning sound....
I love Pauline! It's vintage but more feminine and less fusty than some of the typical "old lady" sounding names (Agnes, Mildred, etc.) I think it would be fresh and charming on a little girl.

I love Bay! It's one of my favorite girl names.
I think of it as a girl name, but it could work unisex as well.
It's so fresh and spunky, yet feels natural and clean and modern.
