Personally I understand your trepidation, I would be worried about it being shortened to "Fish". "Fish" is not as cool an animal as for example, a "Fox" is, a fish tends to be thought of as floppy...

Personally I would think it's a bit odd... like naming your kid Canada...
If you get something monogrammed at a school for him, would it say pTa? (parent teacher assocation?) another thing that I don't think truly matters lol
