If Charlie and Tilly are the actual names and not nn, you must go with the y or ie (the ee sound) ending so that the child doesn't feel left out or different in some way. (Charlotte and Matilda?) ...

I too think Alaina, Darla and Freya are quite nice! Freya being my favorite of the 3.
Some others ending in the short "a" sound that I've thought of are.....
I love the name Quinn! Great as a first or middle :)
