Thanks for the article, greyer! I enjoyed reading it. My hormones haven't kicked into full gear just yet, but I definitely relate to parts of it. Anxiety, fear, and guilt creep in from time to time....
With those two options, I voted for Penelope Song. Like the pp, though, I think Audrey Song would be lovely.
I voted for the first and third, but my favorite is probably Jack, Noah, and Ethan. They're all very popular, but for a reason, IMO. They're classic and handsome, and they go great together. I like...

Hey all! I just got my first doctor's appointment scheduled for April 6 to make sure everything is going OK. No morning sickness yet, but I'm waiting for it to kick in at any time. I'm only just...
@babylove- I tested around 4 days early with a first response test, and the line was very faint. I tested two days later and it was as dark as the control line! So there's...
Thanks everyone!! Congrats to you, too, Rhian!
Told the husband tonight by buying him a dad's guide to pregnancy and sticking the positive test in as a bookmark :) it took him forever to see it,...

Hey all! I'm going to tentatively join this group-- I got a BFP on a first response test today, 3 days before my expected period. The app on my phone says I'm due November 28 if calculated by the...
I love Julia, even if it isn't really a nameberry favorite. It's so pretty and classic! I picked Julia and Margaret nn Daisy. I'm not a fan of Daisy by itself, just because I'm not sure how it would...
Well, I just took the test, and BFP!!!! It's faint, but it's definitely there!
I'm so excited/terrified! Now I'm going to try to figure out how/when to tell hubs. Any cute ideas? I'm thinking...
Hello all! I haven't been on for a while, so I'll have to go back through everyone's posts from the last week or so. But for now--
@northernlights- good luck re: your fertile...

I have a soft spot for Adeline, although I also pronounce it as -line. It gets my vote, even if you have to remind people re: the pronunciation. Elora is nice, too, but I just love Adeline.

I think Paige sounds nice with Addison. I also like Natalie with it. It sounds like you're leaning toward more trendy, non-frilly girls' names. How about:
I like July. I think it's cute and spunky, and I actually prefer it to some more traditional month or seasons, like April or Spring.
One caveat is you might get a lot of people thinking that...
I am currently TTC, and I do some quilting--nothing super fancy, but I've done a few baby quilts. I'm definitely planning on making a quilt for my LO when we get pregnant. Here are some projects I've...
@emma and nannster, welcome!
@Jessblonde- I hope you get good news this week. That must be scary.
@cyoung, sorry about AF. Love your positive outlook. Hopefully this will be the cycle!
I voted or Emerson, but Silas is my second favorite with Eleni.
I love Charlie! Unfortunately, my name is Carly, so it wouldn't work for our family. Charlie makes me think of "old man" names and classic nickname-y names, like:
Cole (by itself or as a...
I don't think it's weird at all. In fact, nearly every John I've known is a Jonathan, not a Johnathan. I only know one Jon.
@scarlet- that's so exciting! I'm glad everything is looking good!
@babylove- congrats on joining the "officially TTC" group!
@northernlights- glad you get to move on to a new cycle--...
Oh wow, that's wonderful news, Scarlet! So very happy for you!!
@babylove- I know exactly how you feel-- in fact, last month (our first month of trying), I wouldn't let DH talk about baby stuff right before bed because it would always freak me out. During the day...
I was very sad to hear this, although I didn't really know her. It's crazy what can happen in a moment. A cousin of mine (we are not close) just lost her husband this week, very unexpectedly. She has...
I prefer Hugo because I think it grows up better than Rupert. Rupert makes me think of Rupert Bear, an adorable association for a small boy, but a bit awkward for a teen or adult. They're both nice...
Love the previous posters' suggestions. I like classic and longer middles with Nora, like
I'll also add that my dog's name is Nora...
I've been really busy for the past week and have kind of lost track of the thread. I've been trying keep up!
@sunkissed- that sounds pretty stressful. Hope you get good news!
