Yeah, I think Britannia is out. I love it, but it just doesn't appeal to me as much as the others.
My hope is that with Twilight already being old news, maybe the reference will fade with time? But it'd probably be THE name (maybe along with Truett) if it weren't for the Twilight series. The fact...
I know exactly what you mean about Britannia. I really like it, but I just don't know that it's realistic to use. It also sounds a bit clunky next to the others. It's probably the lowest on my list,...

Evelyn Joy is classic, beautiful and bright. I love it!
I would love opinions on these names. I like names that are unusual, but that are legitimate names with a bit of historical significance (or at least have some kind of traceable history), and for...
Scarlet doesn't work with our surname, unfortunately. :(

You can pronounce it either way. I prefer the he-LAY-na pronunciation over the HELEN-a pronunciation, but I think whichever you preferred would work.
I'm throwing around some girl names and would love opinions on them. I like names that are unusual, but that are legitimate names with a bit of historical significance (or at least have some kind of...

My daughter is Daphne Coppelia, so obviously Daphne gets my vote. :) Genevieve is lovely as well. Could you just do Daphne Genevieve?
Other middle names I love for Daphne are:

Oddly, we have too many Coppelias in the family already, so we've used it as a middle name for our daughter instead. :)
Poll: Which Aurelia?
I've decided on Aurelia. I think Josiah, Daphne & Aurelia make a lovely sibset, and it has the sparkle, meaning and history that I look for in a name. So the next question I have is, do you prefer...
I like all of the pronunciations, but aw-REL-ya seems like the easiest to say out loud and I think flows better with our surname, so I've been going with that. It wouldn't bother me at all if they...
Our surname does start with an 'L', so it is somewhat 'L'-heavy with Clara.
Poll: We're Down to 5!
We're down to 5! Vote for your favorite! Our surname sounds like 'Lock' and our other children are Josiah Michael & Daphne Coppelia.
Aurelia Jane 'Lock' (Josiah, Daphne & Aurelia) - My favorite...
Poll: Which Jane?
Hello! We have two children, Josiah Michael & Daphne Coppelia. I wanted to be sure to honor my Mother, so she asked that we honor her by using Jane as a middle name, Jane being a family name which...

Thank you all so much for the replies! I think I've narrowed it down to 16:

Thanks everyone! I really, really appreciate all of the input! :)
In response to a few comments:
*Bryndis (brin-DEES) is Scandinavian, and my Husband's family is from Norway, so I thought it...

I've narrowed my extremely long list to every name that works with our surname. Which...still leaves a pretty long list. So help me narrow it down more! :) Which ones (if any) do you like? Thank...
Poll: Elena Either/Or
Which Elena do you prefer? Elena is to honor my Mom. Siblings are Josiah Michael & Daphne Coppelia.
I've never seen Vampire Diaries, but I've heard others mention the Elena/Katherine connection. It's definitely something to keep in mind, but I don't think it would bother me all that much. The...

Though I love Rhys, I think it's probably out as well. We have a short 3-letter surname, so although Rhys sounds okay with it, it sounds choppier than James or Alexander. Plus, as a previous poster...
Yes, that absolutely makes sense. And I agree, the look of Elaina Catherine is much nicer.
I love Elaina Catherine, but would Elaina Verity pair better with Daphne Coppelia? I feel like Coppelia and Verity go together a bit more. Not that it HAS to be matchy with my daughter's name, but...
My husband's mom's name is Coppelia. Coppélia is a French ballet from the 19th century.
I'm thinking it will be Elaina Catherine or Elaina Verity. Josephine I like, but DH does not, and I don't know that I love it as well as the other two.
