I love Maude. Mabel and Mavis are pretty too, and Myrtle is okay, although it's not my style.
I would definitely say Laura. It's timeless, and as a Laura myself, I've never had any problems with it. I never found it too dated, too common or too popular. I like the look and sound of it too.

I really like Anjali, Anya and Nalini. They translate very well into English, and I wouldn't even guess that Anya was Indian and not English. I think I'd actually go for Anjali or Nalini, if you want...
