Alina. It is such a pretty, feminine name & one that I associate with several amazing top Ballerinas!
I always been very fond of the name Leif and love it for a boy!!
Just a suggestion, but what about names that can be spelled with an A (Alaina vs. Elena) instead of an E?

I really like this name! Maylia does seem like a good choice for pronunciation purposes. I also like Maelia...perhaps even better than Maylia. What about Maelya? Maeliya? Honestly, I don't think...

Lots of babies/children I have cared for have had beautiful names and their parents did not seem to follow any particular naming "rules" as far as I could tell.
