It's interesting how this thread slowly shifted from "would you ever" questions only, to, well, not having only "would you ever" questions. It's not a bad thing, though: I think it's better this way....
Astrid has always reminded me of the nightly sky - so I feel like Selena and Eve fit it to a T.
I agree with the point Sunniva made.
I voted for Caroline and Juliet, though I also like Violet or Serena. I like Noelle too, but then you would have a Christmas theme.
1. Backpack across a continent?
Hmm. I don't think I would. It's too unsafe. I might consider it if I could plan everything in detail, but then it would be more like a vacation in which I have to...
I'm reading The Elegance of the Hedgehog by Muriel Barbery. I don't know if I like it or not. And I'm jealous of the 12-year-old Paloma, because I don't think I was as profound as her at 12.
I love Elowen. I agree with it being whimsical, graceful and gentle.
Middle name ideas... off the top of my head, I'd say Elowen Celeste or Elowen Claire. Elowen Bryony. Elowen Cassia. Elowen...

I would never name my child "Stinky Hipster" even if the names were my absolute favourites. A person's life is at stake.
This being said, being mocked a bit is very common and can happen even to...
1. Only drink water for a year?
I'm sure I could do it without problems of any kind. The only other things I drink regularly are milk and juices, and I still drink only water on most days.
@myosotis - It sounds quite similar to my situation. So much work to do and school starts in two days.
@nessette - Thanks! I have huge self-esteem swings. Generally I'm more on the arrogant part of...

Personally, I prefer Julia Carolyn Wright. I think it has a simpler flow, while the other is a bit too elaborate and "wordly" in my opinion. Besides, I just like Julia more.
Uh, perhaps it set off some kind of spam filter?
(It's just speculation! I'm not a mod)
EDIT: Looks like sweetpeacelove answered before me.

Damaris, thanks to the berry cloud, is definitely my crush of the day. Also Bel (there's a thread about it in the girls' names forum).
My latest love, though, is Leah. It's serene, quiet, happy,...
I live in Italy, but am 50% Italian and 50% Chinese. My mom wanted an unusual name. She also wanted it to be two syllables at most. One of her favourite TV shows ever is 24, and one of the characters...
I think it has the issues Sunniva mentioned, though the more I think about it the more it grows on me. I like it. It's simple, but does have its charm. I'd be immediately fascinated by a Bel.
I like Marlowe the most, but the other names aren't bad either. Perhaps you could wait until the baby is born and choose the one that fits the most.
Best luck, steampunkleo! I stress very easily too and have no idea how to combat that feeling.
I have various things on my mind. First of all, I have a procrastination habit. It's such a pain -...

How about Rosemary? It's vintage, it's got the nature theme.
She likes Cedric, he likes Jack.
