My faves would be:
It's a Welsh name .... not even common here in Wales but I know a few of them .

I like Max best from your choices ....though Dean is perfectly fine.
My own faves would be : Jack, Keir, Lloyd, Quinn, Rex, and maybe Gray depending on other names.

Owen and Tristan are both Welsh names and we do hear them both here although Owen is more popular.
I think either are fine though I would choose Owen myself.
Enfys (en-viss) means rainbow

Welsh names, being ancient and spelt phonetically sometimes take a while to turn blue.
Macsen is just an example of that . If you google the name , the meaning and history pop up straight away...
Neirin is the older form of Aneirin and I would pronouce it as Nay-rin myself as a Welsh speaker.
I like Piran ...Cornish though not popular .
Terwyn ....very unusual Welsh boy's name .
I recently heard this as well on Masterchef of all things ....great name , though not so keen on the nn Lark for a man.

I am Avalon .....other names considered for me were Angharad or Enfys and if I was a boy - Aneirin , Iestyn or Brynmor ........I think I got off lightly as it goes - a few linguistic Olympics there...
not seeing any problems there .....Emrys Brandt looks and sounds fine.
Arianne was used by a colleague of mine to honour her mother Anne.
I like Rhiannon as well.

Gwen ....Gwyn is a male name.
My friend's little girl is Gwyneth nn Gwynnie.
