Vanessa- that is perfect way to tell the husband! So happy for you!
Hehe, Red... Secret DSX. You rebel, you!
Have you considered that people might use the loo-see-ah pronunciation when making combos? Neither loo-shah or loo-chee-ah are intuitive for me, and if you live in an area with Spanish-speakers, you...
Vanessa! Awesome! We could have two BFP on this thread at the same time! Congratulations!!!
Squinters are good news! Fingers crossed for you Sarah!
Red and moonkai- I have and read the book. It's a little dry and holier-than-thou sometimes, but if you've been preventing pregnancy for a while, it's an interesting read. You start to wonder how...
I'm coming over from the TTC 2013 board. AF arrived yesterday, so although I have one more cycle this year, I won't find out until January so here I am!
We've been trying since...
Well… AF arrived a little early at 13dpo. I know I've only been trying 3 cycles, but I'm kinda devastated about this one. I cried. A lot. I know, if I'm being rational and not hormonal, that taking...
I just wanted to say that with Marian upfront (lovely, btw!) I love Isolde.
Marian and Isolde. Delicious.
Ophelia, Daphne, and Cosima would be my top four.
Isolde and Marian. So perfect!

I really want to believe you because there are many women here who very desperately want to have a child and haven't been able to, so making up a story about a pregnancy is just not cool, and quite...
If they don't rhyme, no. Go for it. My top two names both end in the -ee sound (they share the long o sound too), but have a different syllable count. I think it's ok.
Congrats! Beautiful name!
Maybe it's just me, but I pronounce them exactly the same- ow-RELL-ee-ah. That's the closest I can spell it phonetically to how I say it in Spanjsh.
I don't know where you are, but you can't use...
Betty- I hope this all clears up for you soon! It's so frustrating to be stuck like that...
I'm 10dpo and getting antsy. I will not test early.... That just devastates me when they're negative......
Hey Vanessa! CD 19, 8dpo! We can TWW together.
I had two different friends announce pregnancies this weekend. I had a small twinge of jealousy, but honestly, I was genuinely happy and excited for...

Not a parent, but I wouldn't leave a 9 year old unsupervised in a theatre. The table on their own in a restaurant isn't AS bad, as I'm assuming the mom would have to be there to pay and such. ...
Calling Dantea!!! She speaks Greek!
I'd assume it is like Zoe, Chloe, Persephone, Penelope, Ianthe, Xanthe, etc, and pronounced ee-van-thee
It would be wonderful to try to plan the month to give birth, but the reality of TTC makes me realize I just want a healthy baby, I could care less when they're born. You can't control these things.

And to a much lesser extent, as I feel it is a name that works no matter where you put it:
Noemi is name perfection! I love Italian names!

I like the idea of Rosalind. Beautiful name with history and you still get the same meaning.
Isabella and Sophia are beautiful names, obviously many parents agree. I personally don't care about...
Maybe you'd like Sarai (suh-rye)? You'd still get the contrasting sound with Ayla, and the link to Sarah.
I think Caroline is a natural sister name to Eliza, and it's lovely :)

If you're pronouncing Madeleine (mad-eh-len) then I prefer Madeleine Briar.
