Lately I have been loving the name Mariana. I do think Isabel Mariana Pearl flows a little better, but Isabel Mariana June just looks really pretty to me. My daughter is June so I am biased though....

I love Rosemary along with Marigold! It is so hard to decide on nicknames though, because there are so many good ones!! I like Roma..but I also think Rosie is cute..and I like Mary too!

I think it totally works. There are other known nicknames that don't carry the same sounds as the letters in the original name. Rosalie nn Sally is just an idea we aren't used to. For example Harriet...
I think Mandolin is a great name, especially because of the significance.
