I love Anastasia. Much more interesting than Isabella, and no Twilight or top 10 association.
It's a real shame that people fabricate so many sets of multiples... immediately casts doubt on those of us asking for help with legitimate sets of twins so that we have to play defence on this site....
Thanks, everyone! We're loving all the baby snuggles, to be sure.
I love Felix--it's our top pick if we ever have a boy! I think all of your names are great, though, so you can't really go wrong. Other possibilities:
Sorry for the late post, but I wanted to pop back in to say that our two gorgeous little girls, Philippa Winter and Vivienne Gray, arrived safe and sound by emergency cesarean almost one month ago...
I love Ophelia. Cordelia reminds me of Cordelia Chase on Buffy.

Yeah, not really intended to be a theme! Our other family middles are just a bit boring, IMO--nothing that really goes with our choices except maybe Whitt, which is interesting but may be too choppy...

What about Alexandra Winter and Vivienne Gray? Lex and Vivi?

Thanks for the positivity, everyone. So, Philippa is preferable to Felicity?

Well, Gray is a family name we're more keen on keeping, but we could drop Winter and switch it up to Philippa Constance... or maybe even Felicity Constance? Might be more classic that way...

Of your choices, I like Nola and Elsa best--both are sweet with May as a mn.

Ooh, I'm liking Olwen. Don't know if DH will bite, though.

I loooooove Nimue (would use it myself if I had the guts), Isolde, and Gwenllian!

Judging from comments, it's sounding like we should stick with what we've got?

Thanks for the ideas. Middles are up for discussion, so I'd just be looking for a more daring pair that really worked well together. As you say, good to have something to do while the wait for labour...

Thanks, and looking forward to your suggestions--always love your name ideas!

Oh, really? I guess I've always thought of Persis as being quite classic (in the very old, Greek sense). I guess I thought they might go well as they both sound strong and fresh to me, whereas...

DH and I have, for the most part, settled on calling our twin girls Philippa Winter and Vivienne Gray (Pip/Pippa and Vivi for short), but with our induction date looming less than 2 weeks away, I'm...

I actually like Vivien, but DH really doesn't because he says it looks like a mis-spelling.

Victoria's Secret model.

Thanks. Really funny about the Dorian Gray thing--is it just the sound that makes you associate it?
Sorry for those of you who have seen many of these choices before--hoping a poll will help...

Our little ladies are due in just a few weeks and we're still struggling with names--ack! The first names are Philippa and Vivienne(sp?), but we're still trying to decide:
1. On Vivi's spelling...

Classic, no. Vintage, yes... in certain crowds. I think it depends on social circle, age, and area.
