Baby 4 is on the way and I'm looking for a boy name to go with sibs Wesley, Dexter and Beatrix... I'd prefer a two-syllable name with a cute nickname like the others, but I'm not set on it.

elegant out of the sets?
My son is Dexter too! <3 I love Octavia and Evangeline personally. Like all your choices really. Vivienne, Scarlett and Elle would be off my list just because I know kids with those names.

I was seriously considering Leland last time before I found out it was a girl. So I'll just share some of my girl faves that I think would flow nicely.

Some I like for the water-theme:
boy: seaton, reed, caspian, triton
girl: coral, brooke, tallulah
unisex: marlin, river, rain/raine
I also have always liked Celeste (f) and it seems to...
Love your name choices! I have always liked Arthur but it clashes with our last name so I couldn't use it. I considered George and Georgia each time. :) Good luck! I'm sure you'll pick another...
I think it's fine to go with whatever "rules" appeal to you and your partner. Everyone I talk to seems to have different criteria for name choice... be it popularity ranking or country of origin. ...

What style of names do you like? If the family names are off table, what names would you pick?
I have three kiddos and each has a family middle name. They aren't names I would have necessarily...

Congrats! Love all the names you chose!
Funny, I just had a girl after two boys and the girl is the easiest baby so far. Guess it all boils down to temperment.

I like Julia Catherine the best I think. :)
Mary is a great name on it's own. Not too popular these days but definitely a classic. Marie, Maria, Marilyn would be another option.

There is a Karis in our family and I also know an older Carys. Both are pronounced Care-iss. I think Karis Mae sounds great and is close enough to "Karen" to honor her. You could also go with Kari...
I considered Lenora and Leona so I like all the variations of Eleanor. I think Leona is my favorite but Leonora is great too.
NN's that come to mind:
Eleanor - Elle, Elly, Lee, Lea
I'm a little late getting over here, but since I got a lot of inspiration on the Nameberry forums I thought I'd share our pick.
Beatrix Esther was born 7-23-12 at 3:08pm! 8lb 12oz, 22"

Considering my son is Dexter and I love your boy list, maybe my girl likes will help?
Millicent (nn Millie)
Penelope (nn Penny or Nell)
I posted on here earlier in the pregnancy when I was getting some ideas. We are expecting our first girl. (Big brothers are Wesley Eugene and Dexter Charles.) I will settle on a name for awhile...

I don't tell anyone IRL until baby is born. I come online to discuss and get feedback. I have mentioned a few front runners to my mom and BFF this time. With our first we told no one. I got tired...

I don't think they have to match. I do think if you followed an obvious pattern for multiple children and one was left out of that pattern it could be an issue.

We found out we are having a girl after two boys. Exciting! I was on here a bit at the beginning of the pregnancy but now it's more real since we know the gender.
I thought this naming thing...
I like it. I've never heard of the car either.

I like it for a nickname. I knew a man called Tex growing up. I don't know the whole story, but I get the feeling it was a nickname he acquired as an adult. He fit the cowboy look complete w/ big...
I say use it if you really love it.
I do know two Noah's born in the last couple years. It is a popular name that we are going to be hearing more of I believe. But as others have mentioned,...
Clara, Eliza and Hollie jump out at me from your list. Good luck!
I like it. It's old-fashioned but not trendy. Definitely a strong name and not super frilly.

Depending on the last name, I think Eve Rose could work as a fn and mn. Love both names personally.
Not a big fan of the hyphenated or double first name thing. It feels dated or something... like...
I agree with pp's. Sure the name is a bit dated, but that means her name will stand out amongst the names that are currently trendy. Britta is a great nn too. Choosing it to honor your sister is...
