At this point it's probably a good idea to start talking about traditions and style. I want something simple, timeless and easy to spell. My partner and I discovered contradicting...

I love your taste in names! My favourites from your list are Andrew, Joel and Samuel!
Parents - Paul & Pauline
Kids - Patrick, Phillip....and Eric.
I adore Hadley Wynne. Good luck!
I really like Archer, and I adore Arthur. I agree that it may fall into the "trendy" bucket but that doesn't mean you shouldn't use it. It's hip and cool in a classic kind of way. Good luck!

Have you heard this name before?
Calvin is awesome! I think it'll take some time to grow on people and they'll eventually love it. We're all name people so we try to find the good in names. Others tend to focus on first impressions....

Finley Marie - I like Finley for a girl if you avoid the nickname Fin(n), which screams all boy to me. I like that you've paired it with a feminine classic.

Margeaux seems to be trying a little too hard.
Margot is very pretty.
Margo is nice but seems a bit incomplete to me.

It isn't overused.
It doesn't fall into any 'name trends' like Kay- or L- names on girls.
It's elegant in full and spunky when using a short form.
There are a lot of nickname options.

I love the name Catherine with your girls' names! Beautiful.
I would agree with making a list that he doesn't hate. I'm a planner, and luckily so is my SO. I would go insane with worry if I...
I am ardently in love with the names Elliot and Claire. A top 10 finish would not deter me from using them, at all.
I really, really love it! It is not boring at all!

I wouldn't want to find out. I mean, I haven't been there yet or anything, so I may change my mind...but there are so few surprises left in this day and age! If you go gender neutral in your...

The names you have chosen are absolutely darling! I'd be delighted to meet a little girl with any of those names.
My parents didn't like that my brother's son was to be named Phenix when he was...
That's very sweet to say! Thank you.
Personally, an emotional connection to our child's name far outweighs how a name sounds or how popular it is. I would like for our childrens' names to be a...
Thank you for your insight. You made a good point about only the first and last name being used regularly. I had not considered that.
This was so helpful. I very much appreciate your input as someone with experience in this area. Thank you!
I'm trying to be okay with it but the fact is that I strongly feel that five names is too many. I'm wondering if the second middle name can be put on the legal birth documents and remain unused on...
My SO has a family tradition of having a second middle name for each child - Mary for a girl and Joseph for a boy.
It was never a cause for concern until he decided that he wanted...
