I have an almost 3 year old Harper and her baby sister due any day is going to be Willa. If you are like us, we feel like Harper is very versatile and don't put it in the unisex only category,...

Ugh, this has me just as confused with how split everyone's opinions are!

Willow hasn't really been an option for us... It seems so different than Willa. I agree that Willa Fertitta doesn't sound great, but realistically, Fertitta is just a clunky last name that is...

Thank you for all the feedback! I guess I should've mentioned that I live in the southern US. It even took me a second to figure out who you were referring to when you said Will & Kate because we...

We have finally decided on a name for daughter #2... So excited to meet sweet Willa! She's being named loosely after my grandfather Bill and I'd like her middle name to honor my grandmother Kathryn....
I second Marlowe. Perfect amount of spunk and surname, but much more pleasant & obvious that she's a girl.

Definitely Elizabeth nn Ellie or Libby.

Love that you posted this because Willa is on our short (really nonexistent) list for our daughter due in 3 weeks. Judging by your signature, we have very similar name taste because my daughter is...

or what about Adair? Could still nn Addie if we wanted. just came across that.
Love Elliot! But, can't for 2 reasons. One, it's my sister's niece's name (her husband's niece, so they would have...

and yep, Fertitta is our last name. :) It is never said or spelled correctly, so I'd love to stick to names that are fairly easily spelled since she'll be explaining her last name several times a...

Thanks for the feedback. Glad to see Linden is getting some love. Any suggestions for middles for Linden or Adeline? Harper's middle name is Mae if that helps.
I also forgot to mention that we...

We are expecting Baby Girl #2 in just a few weeks, and still do not have a name for her. My older daughter's name is Harper, and we really liked the name Emmeline (with a nn of Emme) for this...
I say it Emma-LINE.

That's true. I guess I am more worried about offending or upsetting them more so than the girls actually having similar names and being friends. I try to imagine if friends name their daughter...

I would stay away from an A or I name to prevent the initials WAG or WIG.
I like Holland better, but hate the nn Holly. Cora is a much better nickname, but I like Holland better as a proper name. I knew a little girl named Holland & she is precious.

My husband and I have been desperately trying to come up with a name for baby girl #2 and finally agreed on Emmeline (em- uh- LINE). Our only reservation is that close friends of ours (my husband's...

in looking at some of the other threads, I also really like Emmeline. Is it too similar to Emerson to use?
