Yeah I can't do Omri or Omari but I do like them both. Right now I'm leaning towards Declan because I think the similarity of Keian and Callen is just too much. Even though Callen is by far my...

Ok so I slept on some of the names I like and so far my number one pick is Callan I'm just afraid it's way to close to Keian. The beginning and ending are the same sound. Number two is Declan. I...

I just have to say I needed to read this post!!! For so long I've been so cautious as to steer clear of names that are too popular. Now I'm realizing I tend to like the trendy names! I'm having...

Forgot to mention though I like the thought of incorporating the Ar- sound Arden is to abrupt for me and hubby's name is Aron which nixes Arran and I don't really care for Arius.

I'm due in 12 days and am a complete loss for a name. A little bit of background on how I got here. 1st I started out a little too picky and shot down like every name that I didn't come up with...

Thank you everyone for your help. I still am so undecided at this point I think I'm going to take a break from names for a little bit(try to anyways)! And in order to incorporate hubbys like with...

So you guys don't think Lennox Teo Wesling W***** is too much? With two middle names and the fact that the last 2 start with a w? Also does it just sound like he had 2 last names? Also what do you...

Also not sure if I mentioned in pp our last name starts with a "W" 2 syllables

While my husband doesn't mind Lennox Wesling he doesn't love it. His 2 favorites are Finn and Teo. This brings the other problem with our selections above either I or hubby don't love the name. ...

Berries I don't know what's wrong with me! Here is my dilemma...I would like to name by baby after my grandfather who recently passed away although I don't like any of his names so I wanted to use...

I don't really see it as naming the child "after" the person just kind of inspired by. I think a lot of people get some inspiration from someone or something whether it be sports, a family member or...

My husband has mentioned so many on behalf of sports or players. We chose Tate as a middle name after a college football player but like snacktress said I only used it because I liked it but let...

My husband is a Miami Dolphins fan and wants to name our son Finn but I'm just not a big fan of that lol.

Just curious if any of you would let hubbys love of sports play a role in the name? Using some type of sport name or something to do with sports as a name. I personally know one boy named Heisman. ...

I don't really like Arnold. I prefer Arne if I'm going to go that route...

I never thought about using my grandpa's last name as a middle. It's Wesling. Hubby threw out Knox Wesling or Knox Wesling James. Thoughts on that? Is it too weird?
October 10th, 2012, 08:17 PM
Yes I am pronouncing Arne the traditional way. It may not seem like a big deal but the different spelling makes it a little more appealing to me. I just loved Lennox Miles so much more than Lennox...

Mischa I do agree Miles and Arne do kind of blend. My husband has mentioned James as a middle as well although it sounds better it's pretty darn popular and that doesn't sit well with me. :/ I'm at...

Blade while I appreciate you looking all those up Arne is what I think I will go with. To me the name itself is my way of honoring him while the meaning is just an added bonus.
October 10th, 2012, 02:23 AM
Thank you not to mention the meaning of Arne just fits my grandfather so perfect it makes it that much more special.
October 10th, 2012, 02:19 AM
Arne definitely has much more of a significance than Miles although this may sound awful I don't love the sound of Arne or Arno really I just want to honor my grandpa. I don't know where that leaves...
