My husband is a pretty goofy and quirky guy, and one of the funniest things about him (to me) is that he never remembers people's names, especially celebrities', and so he'll assign them really...

Here on California's North Coast, the first baby was Laila Rose Lorraine, born at 12:21. Liking the name. :)

Okay, that helps. :)
Here are some ideas:

Would you like another vowel-beginning name to go along with Isla and Oakes, or does it matter? Any other examples of names you like, so that we can better gauge your style?

Yay. I'm a big Matisyahu fan. ("King Without a Crown" came out when I was 17... gosh, I am old. :))

Remy, thanks for the comments. :)
Elihu is pronounced "EL-ih-hyoo"; it's a (rather obscure) variation of Elijah that appears way back in my family tree, and also belonged to the founder of Yale...

Olivia, Lily Allen is actually quite big here, as are The Killers (but they're American... from Las Vegas, in fact, although I agree they have a "British" sound). And Jake Bugg's "Lightning Bolt" got...
Haley, I'm sorry that you feel that way. On the 24th it'll be three years since I joined Nameberry, and I feel like my opinions are ignored sometimes too, but I think that happens to everyone. There...
I like both, but prefer Otto. :)
The best thing I can suggest is Danae. It's pronounced like Renee with a "D" in front. In Greek mythology, Danae was the mother of the hero Perseus.

@rowgeesee - Thanks for the heads up about Opal; I was not aware of the bad-luck connotation there. I'm not sure yet if it turns me off (plus, we are not yet expecting, so I have no idea what the...
I really like Marlena Rain and Charles Atticus. Like the previous poster, I would prefer either Anthony Luca or Anthony Luke instead of Luka, just not a fan of that spelling.
Maya James is fine,...

I like Silas best. Second choice would be Lorenzo, third would be Nova, fourth would be Schuyler. The others, I personally do not care for.

I would go with the Bo spelling, as @collmcc523 mentioned, because of Bea Arthur.
I think Bo really could come from any "B" name, but Bo by itself is just fine.
By the way, we have a couple of...

I do think of the Flintstones a little, but honestly, it's been over a decade since there was a Flintstones movie made and almost two decades since any sort of Flintstones TV series aired......

I know a 12-year-old Camden who's a boy. Being a place-name, it theoretically could be used for either gender, but it seems much more fitting for a male to me.
I don't have the 2012 SSA data on my...

Yes, Haley, I do agree that flat-out saying a name is ugly is rude, and there are more constructive ways to go about that - "the sound is harsh to my ears" or "I don't care for the spelling" or...

I love the suggestions of Ada, Corinne, Eve, Gemma, Luna, Rosa, Ruby, Vera and Violet.
Others I might add:
Boys: I really love Ezra, Gideon, Luca (but I don't care for the Luka spelling), Omri and Sebastian. The rest are fine, just not my style. Ravi seems slightly odd on a non-Indian, but I don't think...

I love Rory. Handsome, playful, and works equally well on a child or an adult. :)

Yeah, I know they don't really "go" well. That's the pitfall of a blended family - I'm hoping that maybe, especially if the next one is a son, we can somehow balance Asher's modern, straightforward...

I'm of two minds about this.
On the one hand, I don't advocate being rude and nasty to anyone on the forum, and I know people on here who CAN be very rude, although most of them (I think) do it...
They don't know you or why you chose the name, and you didn't ask for their opinions on the name, so why should you care what they say? Let it roll off your back, dear.
