I love the names Cassidy and Ezra and Noel
But I watched Veronica Mars, and I currently watch Pretty Little Liars, and these are names of villainous shady characters within the shows.
Wouldn't it be a bit odd to have two kids named heavenly/religious sort of names, and then one named after the queen of the underworld?
I love round letters. B, C, O, R, etc. And dislike letters with straight lines, like X and K.
It makes my list a bit more challenging because sometimes I love a name but hate the letter, as is the...
Oh gosh, girl triplets is like the naming dream for me!
Mine would be:
I'm iffy on the middles, but the first names are pretty definite
I suppose Austyn could fit, although I don't really like it. I could definitely see you as a Lorraine.
Honestly, the first name that came to mind when I saw you was Samantha, nn Sam.
I know some people just adore Romeo + Juliet, but I'm not one of them...I like the play, but I hate the way it's largely viewed by society as "omg the ultimate romance" so that is a huge strike...
I adore Imogen.
The appeal for me is: it's literary, it's a name almost everyone has heard of but very few people use, it has a similar sound to the names that are currently "in" so it won't...

My name is pretty common (#33 the year I was born, just feel off the top 100 list)...but it has several accepted pronunciations, so it's unusual that anyone gets it right on the first try.
I know this is technically pronounced Roz-mund, but I love the sound of Rose-a-mund instead.
Can I get away with pronouncing it that way?

I'm guessing you guys, like me, read a lot of name articles.
I swear this happens every time in the comments. The article will either praise or criticize trendy, unique names, and almost...

I don't understand what's confusing about it, but sure, I'll clarify:
There's nothing wrong with wanting to change your name. People on this site are very open and accepting of name changes, much...

To be honest, it sounds pretentious, silly, and a bit immature.
I've discussed changing my own name on here and only have had positive, helpful responses, so I disagree that Berries are reacting...

I know this list used to exist, and it showed every name by state and a count of how many babies were born with that name (names given to 5 or more babies made the list)
I'm looking for a similar...

Love Gaspard! Reminds me of the gorgeous Gaspard Ulliel!
Like the pp upthread, i pronounced it ga-spard, and the gas part ends up more like gus than gas.
They're not bad, just overused. And joining the millions of parents choosing a top ten name isnt something to be ashamed of or looked down on, it's just...to be honest, it's just boring to me.
I think Artemis is the ultimate spunky name. Hero is fairly spunky to me. Xanthe sounds spunky in a more whimsical, fairytale kind of way

Same as both posters above me, I think of flannel and flan, and find the name very masculine sounding

I prefer the spelling Posy. I think it's lovely, and it reminds me of the Ballet Shoes children's books.
I do think it is somewhat lacking in substance for a first name, but I don't see how it's...

The only ones I would consider not horrible as names are Georgia and Virginia, but the entire list of states that sound like they could be girl names is below

This is a good idea!
So first I should say, when I picture my future kids I basically picture a chubby, curly-haired version of my second-youngest niece. She's a 3-year old firecracker who has...

I just don't quite love the names that generally are recommended to go with Clementine (think Josephine, Florence, Beatrice/Beatrix, etc). and I think it's because, while it's a vintage name,...

I'm typing these with symbols because I only know these people as acquaintances and they're very, very nice. Just have horrible taste in names. I doubt they would use a site like this, given their...

Omg Georgina Lily!! I love it!
Personally, I like George-names better on girls. I genuinely can't picture a boy named George. Plus, picture a girl called Georgie. Oh gosh it's so cute!

Just looking for insight into how people see this name.
What would a Dorothea be like, and what would you name her sisters?
American. I know 3 Arthurs. 1 is my great-uncle, one is an acquaintance about 28 years old, and one is a high school friend's toddler.
