I agree with this so much!
While I like sib-sets that match a particular theme, as long as you love the names, that's all that matters. Your children will presumably have the same last name and I think that's enough.

I love Eloise (obviously)! We actually considered the middle names Ruby, Pearl, and Amelia for our Eloise before settling on Martha. I think any of them could work but I prefer Pearl! Also, Lola is a...
For Christmas this year, my dad went through the blog, picked out his favorites, and put them in a large multi-photo frame, paired with pictures of Grace from that year. He gave it to my husband, and...
Names like Marjorie:
As someone who plans on using only part of her maiden name as a middle if we ever have a son, I don't see the problem with it. I don't think it makes the reference any less substantial. I would use...

I prefer Wyatt of the four. Here are other suggestions:
I love Luella with Wyatt. All of the names are beautiful, but Wyatt and Lulu are too perfect to pass up!

I like the Nora Caroline combo, but the Henry & Lydia sibset. Other suggestions:

We have a brand new girl named Eloise and have gotten the same response from almost every person who has met her: "Oh, I love that name!" Eloise seems to be a name that everyone loves, but not many...
I love a lot of popular names. My oldest is named Grace. Popular as a first and middle name. But it's so endearing. I think the same of Emma, Sophie, Lily, Emily, Abigail, etc. They are lovely names....
My daughter says some very amusing things. I even made a blog about it:
I think it's a great way to honor your heritage and would encourage you to use it, even if it's something only your family really knows about.
Beautiful children! Here are my gorgeous girls:

I only really dislike it when it's a large amount of children (like, ten), when names are misspelled to get the same initial, or when parents limit their choices simply to fit the theme of...

My name is Leah and I have to admit, I do not care much for my name. When I first read the Biblical story of Rachel and Leah, I was jealous of my friends named Rachel. But then, I realized that I was...
I've had this condition with my pregnancies and have two girls.
On February 7, we welcomed precious Eloise Martha into the world. Big sister Grace is so proud of her "baby" and immediately took charge of hosting duties (we were afraid she wouldn't be able to see...

I think it's been this way for a long time. If it doesn't directly affect that person, they can't see why it's offensive, and I think it's basically a lack of empathy. We live in a very self-centered...

I had a travel system and I hated it. Really loathed it. The full-size stroller was just so bulky and heavy and took up so much space in the trunk of our car. I much prefer umbrella strollers. We...
We have a dozen bumgenius pocket diapers with inserts and about a dozen prefolds. We use the prefolds as extra inserts during the evening. I haven't tried any other brands, but I don't feel the need...

Because of a recent influenza outbreak where I live, our hospital has placed restrictions on visitors. This means our four-year-old daughter will not be able to visit me or her new baby sister in the...
