More names that end in A:
Thank you for your suggestions! Becca is my favorite out of the group because then her full first name could be Rebecca. She seems like a nickname kind of person.
Sorry! She is of average height so around 5'6, hazel eyes, dark hair, medium brown skin, she's of mixed ancestry (mainly Native American, African American, and English), she also has an average body...
Genre of Story: Unknown (it's sort of a prequel to sci-fi/future societies thing)
Time Period/Location: ~2013 in USA
Brief Plot: A high school student's experience with a Freak (super powered...

Thank you mfberry and dantea!
To explain as best as I can: the first set is for British/Indian/Middle Eastern names and the reason why Verity's name is so out of place is because she is younger...
I love the names Lucas or Lucan. A really weird one could be Lucretius.
I'm assuming this takes place somewhat in the future, so I don't think Kendra and George really fit, especially with names like Linney and Ema in the fray. Unless it's in the near future, then...

I chose Griffith because that family was born in the future UK; their mother is from the middle east and their father from the UK. But yeah, it felt a little off so I may have to change the surname....
I feel that Irish names or Arthurian names may fit for the males. Here are some suggestions:

Order of how much I like it (from fave to least):
For me, the names need to fit the period and theme. For most characters I like to choose names with meanings that fit with the character or tell something about them which is not obvious at first. ...

Anna or Ana
I say Lyla over Anya because Lyla reminds me of lilacs or lilies, both of which seem soft to me.

Sorry about that! I've split them up by country now:

Genre of Story: Sci-Fi/Fantasy
Time Period/Location: several centuries in the future/ the world
Brief Plot: The plot revolves around four main characters and their involvement with each other....
Poll: Twin combinations
Hi all! I'm having trouble deciding on which names go best with each other. The four names are Phoenyx, Arella, Axel, and Ryker. Arella and Phoenyx are girls and the other two are boys. They all...
Oh, I adore Lorelai! The options are not for the title, it's for the name for a main character. His full first name is Beckminster but he goes by Becks mostly.
I love, love, love Keiran! That's tied with Reed for first. Thank you so much!
There are problems with that because she does gain some very interesting friends and is not great with technology.

I agree with kala_way, Artemis needs a back story about her name but I adore the nn Missie because it contrasts with her personality and can be used teasingly.
Brandon is a little boring. What...
I'm writing a piece with Phoenyx as the character's birth name but she predominately goes by Nyx. But considering your piece seems to be more modern I would suggest Phoenix over Phoenyx.
I like Sylvie, it has a nice feel but I'm not sure if it fits perfectly. The character is born in present day Canada and the children are normally named after the parents' inspirations upon seeing...
I replaced the i with an y because it is a reference to the Greek goddess/personification of night. I did it mainly for symbolism and also because I feel it makes the name seem more feminine than...
