I like the sound/thought of the name, but it's bound to be shortened... would his friends call him Har or Harb? And are you ok with that? (Nicknames are my deal breakers)

I vote Adam.
It's strong and classic. In my area, it's overlooked, and I haven't heard any child named that.
Plus, I know what it's like to have to correct mispronunciations ALL the time, and...
