Eleanor Ivy & Matilda Snow born early this morning (December 24, 2012). They are rather healthy for twins and my labor was relatively smooth. Nora and Tilly are just adorable and we could not be...

If you're not planning on having another baby, I suggest using a name you really love as the fn, and a virtue name as the mn. Since you don't know if it was a boy or girl, perhaps you could use a...

ty13 & laurendawn: Holly is out of the question for us, first or middle. Holly Collins or Eleanor Holly Collins would drive us crazy. :)

Spot-on! We just can't find that many good names that we like that have the Christmas meaning behind them--we're looking for something pretty literal. We love the mn Angeline, but it doesn't work...

Okay, so after our attitude change we've narrowed it down again to these three:
Clara Josephine Collins & Eloise Mary Collins (our original choice)
-We love Clara
-We love Eloise

Matilda & Eloise are cute together! Definitely an option. Matilda Snow, Eleanor Ivy, & Eloise Winter are all beautiful! Thanks for the help!

So, in case you haven't seen my other posts, I'm (very) pregnant with G/G identical twins due on December 24. Our last name is Collins.
We want Christmas or winter-y middle names, and...

1. Our twin girls who will be born in December are most likely going to be named Eloise Mary & Clara Josephine.
1a. Well, they will probably be born around Christmas, so that gave us the middle...
We're highly considering this name for one of our twin girls due in Dec, and having that namesake makes it even better!

Hubby and I LOVE Eloise Mary & Clara Josephine. Hubby's family is very religious, so the Joseph and Mary thing is really special! Plus Josephine is my middle name, so there's some sentimental...

Hi everyone! In case you haven't seen my previous post, I'm Aubrey. I'm a first-time mom from Raleigh, expecting G/G twins in December. I love bohemian, vintage, slightly unusual, glamourous...

I love Fiona, and I know a Fiona too. She hasn't been teased at all because of her name, and she's in college. I don't think teasing will be an issue, and if it does happen you can deal with it...

We think Iris Evangeline and Matilda Noelle may be our final choice, but of course if the babies are born and they don't match the names, we'll change them! Thanks for all of your input!

As I said before, Holly is TOTALLY out of the question.
And, honestly, I don't like Natalia at all. Matilda Noelle is pretty, Iris Bianca??? Possibly??

It makes me think of Annie Oakley, who, of course, was a girl...so the name doesn't really say masculine to me. As previous posters said.
This is pretty vague, but it also reminds me of oak...

DH and I love Ivy & Evangeline (nn Eve) but I just thought of what we would call them...then I realized it would be Ivy & Eve. I'm not sure if I like the sound of that...is the shared middle sound...

I really love all of your suggestions. Thanks for replying so fast! My husband and I both love Eloise and Olive, and Matilda Winter and Iris Natalia are darling! I like Ivy and Evangeline nn Eve. ...

Also, they may be born around Christmas, so if the name had something to do with that, that might be nice :)
