George has been at the top of our list for our son, who is due in November. Do you think it will become really popular now? Would you still use it?

We're thinking about naming our son George. A middle name starting with "S" would be ideal in order to honor my husband's grandfather, Sidney.

Thanks, sabrinafair - how pretty! I don't know why I lean towards Maud without the "e" - perhaps becuase it's Tennyson's spelling?

I like Mila best. Lola makes me think of the showgirl in the song, and Elle always evokes the magazine for me, but I think they're both pretty names if I could get beyond the associations. I think...

I have a Newfoundland named Lucy, which is awfully common, but fits her perfectly.
If we get a male Newf I think we'll call him Alfie.
