I love Catarina! Katarina is not as striking for some reason. Catarina gives me italian vibes, while Katarina gives me eastern european vibes - it depends on which one you prefer.
Matilda Elizabeth Belle is great and rolls of the tongue really nicely. Valentine is one of my favourite middle names for boys, so I like all of your male combos! Love Bodhi John Valentine

I really wish Aisling was pronounced AYS-lyn :/
I love Cecilia and Wilhelmina <3
Nicola seems a bit dated, and the others are just not my style, though there is nothing objectively wrong with any of them.
Eloise (nns Lola,...

@chrisco's Catharina Ophélie and Elisabet Valentine <3
@gr19's Linus Conrad and Margot Adair are stunning <3
Also loving Theodore Zooey, Henry Rhodes and Violet Onora!
Linus Conrad and Margot Adair - love both!
I noticed this as well, and I got confused. I always thought the author wrote their mini-bios, but if it was written for Sparrow, it should be changed to respect their choice.
I think it's a bit dated, but it's cute. I do prefer it as a nickname, though, but it's stabilished as a proper name, so it can stand alone without any issues. However, my immediate association is...
Aurelia Marigold and Raphael Balthazar

those are some tupi guarani names. Tupi Guarani is a "linguistic family", and most of the languages spoken by native brazilians relate to it.

Jane Beatrice is gorgeous, and I think it sounds great with your lastname (assuming its 1st syllable is c0mp)
I like Sansa Stark, but the name is too attached to her character to be usable, imo. Maybe Sancha could be an option. It's a legitimate spanish/portuguese name meaning holy.

yes, I agree with you and with kimi! If the baby is not named and the person is open, is OK to explain why it is problematic and give general advice on the matter. If the person already has her mind...
Just like Ash, I have "un-berry" views on popularity. I think I would stay away from the top 3, but would still use a name I previously loved if it reached the top chart.
If I started hearing the...

I completely agree with you in the matter of religion! I guess we just have different opinions - I think being jewish is more a cultural and ethnic matter than a solely religious choice (I'm not...

I'm sorry, I replied before seeing your edition
The thing with being jewish is that it's not JUST a religion. You can be agnostic, atheist, and still be a jew. Half of the jews in the US don't...

Ophelia, I get your point.
But the thing here is: some jews do find it offensive, due to the significance of the name and all the reasons explained in these kind of topics. It's their right to do...

theodora, here are some links that can help you understand the issue of appropriation of black hairstyles:

This exactly. Thank you for elaborating it better.
I get Cohen's appeal for english speakers, but for everyone's sake, just use Owen.
In the case told by the OP, I think it's a little less,...

I find it amusing that non-jewish people are really trying to tell jews what they should be offended by. As a jew (well, my family is a mix, chrisnukkah style, but still), hearing things like "You...

I'm sorry, I meant to vote no!
Wildflower would be a lovely middle for a more common first. Emma Wildflower and Isabelle Wildflower are great!
Frederick Laurence and Georgiana Blythe (perfection, love it!)
Mix n match: Georgiana Blythe (swoon) and Frederick Wilder

I went through a phase where I demanded to be called Catarina. My parents called me that for about 2 weeks. I got bored of Catarina and had to beg to be called by real name. Lession learned.
