I'd change it to Charlotte. So I'd be Charlotte Solveig.
I feel that way about Emrys. It's been my favorite for so many years, and for a long time I didn't see it on other's lists. I don't get too upset, because of course I understand why people love it,...
For some reason, Vanessa is a name that I've never been able to get into to. I love the nickname Nessa and I love the van sound. Not sure why I don't like the two together!
It doesn't have the...
Congratulations! Pearl Viola is a stunning name.
Hello there! I've been sporadically posting since 2011 and have decided to start posting more. I thought an official introduction was in order!
My name is Kelsey and I am a university student. I...
My fiancé basically likes or is fine with almost every name I bring up. He's only disliked a whoppping total of two names - Milly (he knows a dog with the name) and Zéphyrine. It seems like he...
My grandmother is named Michael Ann. I've never thought it was weird, because growing up it was just normal to me! I'm not a fan of traditional male names on females though.

Never seen Camelot. I adore the show Merlin, and Emrys has been my favorite name since it has been on the air (so 6 years). I love the character (he's really great), so don't worry about it being a...
I adore Posy. Even though it never is consitently at the top of my lists, it will always be a serious contender for a future daughter. I love it as a nickname to Primrose and Persephone. But for a...
I pronounce it more like im-uh-jin. I really like it. I wouldn't ever use it, but I am really, really fond of it. I like the sound and look of it, and I also think the nickname Immy is cute. I also...
No kids yet and we won't be having them for a few more years, but it's never too early to plan! Anyway, I've been having trouble finding girl names I love. Anyone care to help me out?
My top two...

I think it's a great set! They're all very different to me, but also work splendidly together in my opinion. :)
The practice of taking the husband's last name has misogynistic roots, but I think it's a little over the top to claim that the tradition is entirely sexist today.
I'm getting married next August...
Thoughts on Hero for a girl? Is it usable or too out there?

Actually, there were 6 girls in 2012 that were named Emrys, and 39 boys. Here's how it's fared by year:
2013: 59 boys, 16 girls
2012: 39 boys, 6 girls
2011: 7 boys, 4 or less girls (not listed)...

Emrys. It sings to me. It's the most wonderful boy name I've ever heard.
Emrys will be the name of a son if we have one, and my fiancé is also set on using James as a middle name. But I also love the idea of doing two middle names and have the first one be something fun...

I wouldn't trade my fiancé for anyone, but...
Richard Madden is so gosh darn good looking!
I adore that him and Jenna Louise Coleman are dating!
My future brother-in-law is named Austen, and he was named after Jane Austen! He wears it well.
I say go for it! :)
I adore Sasha for a boy! My go to combo has always been Sasha Edvard.

Personally, I'm with the people who said that once they hear a name so much it gets old and boring. Most popular names for me are dreary and not full of life for me. But names like Emrys, Casworan,...
