I love one syllable names!
My faves for boys are:
I agree with emsky that Maeve or Niamh are the best fits, but you might consider using more familiar spellings unless you're living in Ireland.
If she was adopted when she was 3 she would have the accent of the family she grew up with.
Late 1800's/Early 1900's most people would have Bible names or flowery names.
Joy Christine and Joy Clarissa sound the best.
I like Christine but it is a bit standard.
Sounds like you need to hash it out between you.
I wouldn't let a spelling throw you completely off.
Are you really willing to fall on your sword for this?

Iris sounds the best.
Hazel is pretty and fun with it.
Rowen is a beautiful name, but it's hard to say with Willow.
Felix is my favorite name of the 4. The X runs into the S a bit, though not terribly.
I'd love to meet a baby Wyatt though.

Of all of those options I like Charlotte Eden Zinnia the best.
Charlotte Eden Natalia would also be pretty.
I know a guy in his 30's named Damien.
It's all right. I'll admit it does have a tad bit of a "devil child" ring to it, but once you know someone with the name that fades.
I personally prefer...
I like both.
Wesley will have to correct people less often on spelling.
Westley has the option of West which is nice.
can I say 'none of the above'?
I'd just end up asking them how to pronounce it.
Which is the very reason I dislike all versions and spellings of this name: Elena (2257), Alaina (1918), Alayna...
