Sorry Mods but I'm bumping this thread. Anyone else have any ideas?
Do you think the name Solomon Ezekiel is too religious/biblical?
They are both pretty influential and well-known figures in Christianity, however I have come to think it would be too extcessive to...
Wow thanks for all the positive feedback guys. It makes me wonder if the wider community would be as enthralled by the name as the people in this forum. Perhaps if people used it more often there...
Do you think Ursula is usable on an actual person? Do you know of anyone called Ursula? What would you think if you came across one?
I'm starting to really like it but can't get past the Disney...
I think alliteration is only good in some cases. Other than the Robert Robertson kind, I think that uncommon letters such as I, Q, X, Y, Z are a bit too much to aliterate. However, I don't mind the...
Seeing as my favourite character Uriah was left out of the first movie I can already sense the movie will be a disappointment.
Only joking, I haven't even seen the film yet but I hope they do the...

"That's an old ladies name"
"That poor child will have to spell/pronounce their name for the rest of their lives".
Second one kills me especially with legitimate spellings; everyone has to spell...
I'd encourage you to rethink Iris!

I'm also guilty of this and I'm only a teenager. So I have a long time to go before I have to argue for my fave names against my partner.
I actually like Eurydice. It's pronounced - Yoo-rid-I-See right?
No names really stand out to me to fit yet.
I'm liking Isis but I already have Iris on my list.
I'm liking the EE sound at the ending of the names to go with Electra.
I have a weird request for you berries:
I'm looking for a mythological name that doesn't end or start with the letter A (or the sound "AH"), or start with E (EH). It could be from any culture: eg....
I've been looking at my list for a while and have decided I need to freshen it up a little. I'd like your suggestions on some girls and boys names that go with the names already on my...
This is my biggest dilemma at the moment too. How can a 15 year old decide her future? But anyways I have thought this through.
I've always wanted to do something medical.
Ultimately I want to be...
Wow! You look absolutely stunning. I love the bottom of your dress.
I'm a bit worried about my dress looking too much like a wedding dress. But I like full ball gowns :/ it's so confusing :p
Just so I can use all my names:
Emmanuelle Sofia Christiana
Freya Constantina Christabeau
Isadora Neomi Christella
Maxine Theodora Christabelle
Lysandra Beatrix Christina (thinking about...
Thanks! These were my favourites too :)
I'm fairly sure it was a British custom brought over when Australia was settled and it just stuck, however, it is becoming more and more uncommon especially in the cities. Luckily, i live in a small...
I am considering buying a dress online for a big event next year and wanted to know your opinions and stories.
Have you had a good or bad experience?
I wonder if it's too risky, especially if...
What do you think of the name Lysandra? It's pronounced Liss-AHN-Dra.
Have you met anyone with this name?
Apparently it is the name of an ancient Macedonian Queen.
