I've only known Effie as a nickname for Euphemia, but then again Tettie is a nickname for Elizabeth as well, and it makes no sense. Amelia Driver calls herself Minnie, and that is not a real nickname...

Normally I wouldn't answer since I am not a native Spanish speaker, though I do speak some. BUT, my husband is Filipino which is hugely influenced by Spanish culture. Most of the names used in the...
Lula Marite is lovely! Stick with what you love.
If you really get anxious about it, pick a name that keeps Lula as an nickname. Something like Luella, Ludmila, Lucilla have the Lu-la built right...

So, my husband and I have long loved the name Tiffany, but never seriously considered it because the online feedback (from other sites) was mostly negative. However, we are expecting so I suggested...
Oh! There are so many amazing ones. My favorite is probably Buffy, but here goes!:
Els, Bizzy, Bethy, Bert, Etty, Liba, Ibbie, Buffy, Betta, Elza, Nes, Betty, Tibby, Elbie, Tizzy, Izza, Zabby,...
So, we are expecting! Still several months to go, but we have a lot of names that we love. Out top choices right now seem to be Tiffany and Nadine (for sister Clarisse).
I actually love the name Pearl. I prefer Perla the best, but we have Nadine Perlas (perlas being the Filipino version, to honor DH) as a top contender against whatever version of Margaret we go with....
Aw! I LOVE Sloane.
I personally like Sybil the best of your list, but not necessarily with Sloane.
Clara, Cameron and Molly I could see with a Sloane. Molly would be the least expected, but...
I think most people would naturally go for the ah-lye-zah pronunciation, considering the commonality of Eliza.
Ah-lee-zah would have to be explained, though it is technically also correct.

We decided to go for the 2 year gap. DD#1 turns a year old in a few weeks. TTC commences after her birthday.
I agree. Theodore really does sound great with your other children's names.
Teddy even works.
I wouldn't use any name your husband doesn't like (Hudson), and I would rule out Graham and...
I prefer Aliza. We had it on our list for our first child, because we planned to give our kids all names that meant "joy" (didn't happen!). I still think it is beautiful.
I always pronounce it...
I have never heard of Elsana.
I do like Elsa, though I expect it to get incredibly popular due to Frozen.
Elsie and Elspeth would be decent alternatives. So would Rosana, Oksana and Eliana.
Honestly, I would likely use Zeze / Zizi as a nickname if I had an Azalea, but there are plenty of options. Zale, Lea, Azie, A, Azzie, etc.
I like Azalea Linden better. It sounds fresher and more...
Hannah is a classic. It has been in the top 500 for over 100 years. It is usually a lot more popular than that. Yes... it peaked big time in the 90s, but it's one of those names that seems timeless....
I would go with Alice Catherine just for significance, and because it is a sweet name.
However, many of the names on your list are on our tops lists as well. I especially like Adele, Camille and...
Crushing on Margaret names lately, with my favorite being the shortened Greta. I simply adore it.
However, since we are TTC, I'd like to be realistic. Greta does not match Clarisse (our dd)......
I agree with the first poster - you have a lot of unisex names on your list.
I do like Maisie and Macy the best actually... and wonder if Macie would be a decent compromise?
If not, here are...
Have you considered Bethany as a first name? Just curious, because I think it would match your other children's names quite well.
Another suggestion would be Danielle. Danielle Elizabeth is...

I think Darla is a fantastic pairing for Bixie (Beatrix)!
I am not overly fond of Darlene, though I usually like dated names. In this case it honors, so it is hard to critique it, since I feel...

Wow everyone! Thanks for the comments.
I have to agree with the poster who suggested that Begonia is heavy. I think so, but I happen to swoon for clunky names (think Hester, Gilda, Agatha,...

I like both. I think that Isla is a bit more trendy, but Anna (or Anne) is considered classic.
Neither will be unfamiliar, and both are adorable. As for a personal preference, I think Isla...

Really loving these beautiful and bold flowers lately. Wondering if they would fly as names, despite their daring rarity?
I especially love Begonia today, and my mother likes it too.
So, I am...
